Andy Metcalf was absolutely amazing. He ordered us a 2024 Tiguan with so much ease that we've never experienced before. During delivery, he walked us through every function of the vehicle, signing process was a breeze, he even setup the app on the phone to make it seamless. I had a phenomenal car buying experience from these guys, the best in my life, but now I am being told there is a 3% surcharge to pay for parts and service with my credit card? What gives? I paid the DOWNPAYMENT on this car with a credit card and now I can’t use the same for service without being punished for it? No other shop in town does this, including the independent guys! Very few businesses do it period, those that do are all low margin small business who only surcharge low dollar transactions.This is incredibly anti-consumer and negates every good feeling I had about my purchase experience. All I wanted was a hassle free service experience, which means, by definition, not having to run to the bank to get cash! This policy needs to be changed ASAP.Edit: It is not a 'choice' when you surprise customers with the fee after they walk into your dealership. I ordered close to $400 worth of parts from your parts department and this fee was not disclosed until I walked in to pay for them. I don't use debit cards, as they pose a fraud risk, whereas credit cards accord maximum consumer protection.I ordered those same parts from a VW dealership on the other side of the country, for the same price you quoted me. I paid for them with a credit card without surcharge AND got free shipping across the country. Eating that shipping expense cost them far more than interchange fees cost you. That's what good customer service looks like.The above does not even touch on my disappointment on the rest of your service experience. When I bought the car, "free tire rotations". In reality, it's not "free"; you only do them if you think they're necessary at other service appointments. 10k miles on my car and your team deemed them unnecessary. The local tire franchise thought they were and did them for free without any relationship with me. That's what good customer service looks like.Seven weeks it took to get an appointment with your service team after a major safety issue (dashboard randomly shutting off while driving) was discovered on my brand new car.Will not be back. Highly encourage others to avoid you.

Herzog-Meier just out of the blue made my dream of owning a brand new Golf R come true. I had honestly given up the search for one. They're hard to find, and the dealers that did have them wanted to charge insanely high markup from 17k to 10k above MSRP. I had reached out to them 8 months ago about a new 2023 Golf R, only to find out that it was already sold. I left it at that and just kind of gave up on the thought of even getting one this year. To my surprise, 8 months later Zac reaches out to me letting me know they received the first Golf R that they have had in 8 months and wanted to know if I was interested. This was the most straight forward car deal I have ever had. They gave me a completely reasonable offer for my trade in. They didn't low ball me, no 4 square, no games, no tricks. They were completely transparent and wanted to do a fair and honest deal. This was the best experience of my life buying a car. I have been a loyal customer of Herzog-Meier Volkswagen service department for four years with my previous Golf R. I continued to take my car there even after I moved out of state because I trusted them. The transparency of pricing when you book your appointment on the website and the information on what's coming up for service for your car is always very clear, and the staff makes customer care as their #1 priority. Overall, my experience with Herzog-Meier Volkswagen was exceptional. They made me feel like more than just another customer; they made me feel like a valued friend. Their commitment to providing excellent service, transparent dealings, and going the extra mile left a lasting impression on me. Caleb was a pleasure to work with. No BS. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted (car and financing) ready to walk out if I got met with any haggling or anything other than "we can do that". I was pleasantly surprised when I was met with "we can do that!" And even a smile when I apologized for keeping them late (they closed at 6 and we walked in at 5:30 thinking they closed at 7). I am very pleased with my experience at Herzog Meier and working with Caleb.

Excellent customer service from check in to check out and throughout the repair process with multiple updates, which included links to video Of the car inspection and text explanations Identified problems and proposed repairs. Advisor Was very knowledgeable, I felt I was getting all appropriate services And necessary repairs. The car and engine compartment looked clean, and I felt that the technicians did an excellent job!

Started taking my lease for service at this dealer and have experienced nothing but outstanding customer service. Then I decided to buy out my lease with them and Milo Flores (sales consultant) was very professional (not pushy), honest and attentive with helping me get the financing I needed.
