I have a warranty on a car and went into this place to see if they wanted to work on my car. Told me yes but I'd have to pay the difference in price from what the insurance offered and what they want led to charge. The insurance has a deductible and sets a price with the shop before hand. Pretty much was saying they would make a deal with the insurance then charge me more on top terrible customer service

When you spend over $2k at a shop, the least they could do is not stain your interior. Or quote one price then charge you another with the only explanation being "the employee was old". Car still didn't work after that so I had to get it towed back. Employee then said "Hopefully this is it this time" after I paid for the second repair which did not make me feel confident. Overall incredibly unprofessional customer service.

Workers are kind and helpful! It is really easy for mechanics to take advantage of women that do not know about cars and they want to charge for every diagnostic or any other fixes… but with Honest-1 people were straight to the point and made me feel comfortable.

We've purchased their Groupon offers for years. You can't beat the price and the work they've done has always been top notch. Would recommend them to everyone!

Don't let the name fool you like it did me. I picked the place off the name because my mechanic wasn't available. I called to ask questions and told them I have an old car that needed a new starter but didn't want to put more money into fixing other issues. I asked the guy if we could talk about what was going on, and he said I needed to arrange tow first and then call him back to go over everything. Once my car was already being towed there I called back, and he said it was going to be $165 diagnostic fee for a full car inspection, which I didn't need. They then quoted me $1,854 for new breaks and a new starter. I couldn't afford that, so I had my car towed to another mechanic who told me the quote was ridiculously high. The new mechanic did the same work for $640. Sadly, "Honest" Auto still made me pay the $165 full diagnostic, which I didn't need and do not think they did. Very dishonest to wait until my car was already being towed there to tell me about the $165 diagnostic fee instead of when I first called to get information from them. The new mechanic told me he's worked with other customers who had the same issue with "Honest" Auto, and my neighbor knew of the company and said she's has friends get ripped off by them. I would have been fine to pay for some time to look at my starter even though I already told them that was the issue but I'm not ok with them charging $165 for a full diagnostic that wasn't needed and likely not done. If at all possible, choose another auto shop. Wish I had read their other reviews first because I see a lot of unhappy customers. Don't get taken advantage of like we did.

Alternator Replacement. Rapid service. Rebuilt alternator failed within 24 hours and was replaced under warranty the following day. I hope this alternator holds up. Not inexpensive but reasonable service.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

I took my car in for a simple oil change and to locate a power steering fluid leak. The next day I was quoted over $3000 worth of repairs including a radiator leak. I only authorized the most serious repairs but had to finance the bill at 149% intrest rate. But the real issue is when I went to pick my car up, they said 'by the way you have a serious lifter knocking and that this is common for BMW's'. Fist of all it wasn't knocking when I took it in and I said that they would have clearly heard the knocking when they pulled the car into the shop yet never mentioned it until I picked it up. Something obviously happened while they had it, and claim no responsibility. Now I'm burnt.

I had a nail in my tire, and went here to see if they could repair it. Nail was too close to the sidewall, so couldn't be repaired. Richard and team treated my great, suggested places I could go to try and save money on tires. Their care for the community showed and I appreciated it.

This place ripped us off! Went in for an oil change only to be told the brakes were bad. We never asked for the brakes to be looked at but they told us all 4 brakes needed to be replaced and there was an oil leak. They also told us that they needed to keep the car over the weekend to get the part they needed from the dealership, as they didn't have the part we needed. After 4 hours of them giving us different stories about what the car needed I told them to stop doing what they were doing and give me my car back! $600 later! I then went to Les Schwab and they did a free brake inspection since we were heading out of town and they told me that the brakes were fine! They will definitely take advantage of someone who has no car experienceBe careful and get a second opinion before you let them do anything outside of an oil changeVery disappointed

I took my Subaru outback February 4th to have them look at my front brakes they had a free brake inspection, so long story short they said my front brakes would cost 1,100 and my back brakes also would be 1,100 plus there was a brake fluid leak in the back, so I took it to my mechanic, he checked it out said rotors were fine, brake pads 70-80 percent, no brake leak. So you might want to take your car to another shop.

I took my car in for a tune up and asked to have the spark plugs changed. They said I an intake manifold replacement. I gave them the go ahead to do while doing the tune up. They charged me over $600 for just that part and never touched the sparked plugs while insisting I needed a $10,000 new engine. The intake manifold needs to be removed in order to reach some of the spark plugs!!! Now, I need to go somewhere else and pay again to have a tune up and my spark plugs changed. The person at the front desk was completely different when I showed up with my brother to pick up my car. He suddenly did not push for me to get a new engine. I would steer clear of this establishment.

They did a good job repairing my vehicle, communitive, and got parts in earlier then expect. HOWEVER they charge 100%+ mark up on parts. I found same parts on the internet for less then half the prices they charged me.Service: General repairs & maintenance
