The crew at Import Auto Repair was very professional, quick to respond and completely took care of the service needs we had. They problem solved the issue in a very organized approach which ruled out suspected issues in a step by step process. It saved us a lot of money, compared to what was recommended by the local dealership…. We greatly appreciate their excellent service and highly recommend them!

I had a great experience last month replacing my CV boots. They were able to get me scheduled the next day, and completed the repair promptly. We had a small hiccup in the repair, but they were able to diagnose the problem and quickly fix it with no additional charges.

What a great place to take your car to get fixed. I went in thinking my car needed new wheel bearings, and they took a look and determined the cause was something else. David, George and Michael were very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend.

I had my car towed there after it broke down coming home from work. Michael was able to squeeze me in and get the issue fixed in just a few days. He even gave me a rundown of the different options I had when it came to the replacement part. Easily the best mechanic experience I’ve ever had and I will absolutely return if I ever need to!
Edit: I had an issue soon after with my 02 sensors throwing a code and these guys cleaned them for free since I just had the cat replaced there. I cannot stress how awesome these guys are

I was drawn to this repair shop because of the glowing reviews, especially from other owners of German cars. I hoped they could finally resolve the ongoing issues with my Mercedes and eliminate the warning light on my dashboard. However, my experience was far from satisfactory.
Initially, they diagnosed a problem and suggested replacing the caliper. I agreed, and they proceeded with the replacement. They also replaced the brake pads without asking for my approval, although they did waive the labor charge for that. While I appreciated the free labor, it would have been nice to be consulted first.
The real frustration came a few days later when the warning light reappeared, despite the new caliper and brake pads. I expected the repairs to fix the issue, but it seemed nothing had changed. Months later, all four new calipers began to rust, and when I contacted them to claim warranty service, they refused, citing no mechanical issue.
I later took the car back for another diagnosis, only to find out they charged me around $130 without informing me beforehand. I could have purchased a diagnostic tool myself for that price and avoided future charges. Ultimately, I discovered that the issue was just a loose connector, which I was able to fix on my own.
I feel scammed into paying for a caliper replacement I didn’t need and being charged for a service without prior notice. If you own a German car, I strongly recommend getting your own diagnostics and researching issues before committing to repairs at this shop. Also, be cautious about having your caliper replaced here, as they may rust quickly and you won’t receive any warranty support. Save yourself the headache and money!
