Update- 3 years later, they sent us to collections for a $50 application fee. A fee they were trying to charge for my husband even though I cancelled my application prior to moving forward. I asked them about this during that time and they never responded back to my email. And years later, they send us to collections over $50??? Ridiculous. Don’t move here!! Not worth your time!!!!!!This probably would’ve been a great place to live! However, I had a negative experience with James, the community manager.James, at first, was very kind and answered my questions promptly. He was very understanding of our situation and was adapting to our needs. However, when we came by to speak in person more about the apartment, his attitude was completely different.(Due to the capacity, we wouldn’t be able to view our apartment before moving in which is concerning to movers signing a 12 month lease. Our unit specifically was going to be renovated and they had no tours or videos to show us what that would look like.)I had many questions about the unit as I couldn’t come by to tour it. He was very understanding of this and explained that he is not worried about us putting a deposit down as our move in is in 2 months. He explained that we have lots of time and he is looking out for our perfect unit. (One with a backyard)After a few questions in, I asked if there was a unit below us. I looked to my husband because we were not expecting to have downstairs neighbors either. He got very frustrated and sweaty. He seemed to be very aggravated out of nowhere. He started saying “It seems like you don’t even like the apartment so… and we can’t be holding that apartment that long without a deposit” I’ve explained to him that it is not our dream apartment but that we still like the townhouse layout, price, and neighborhood. He starts to get angry and says “Well, it seems like you don’t like it! We have so many people wanting these units! They are booking so fast! We can’t hold an apartment without the deposit!”I started getting confused because earlier, he stated that he was understanding and willing to work with us.My husband later told me that James looked stressed and having a bad day.At this point, I was just upset with his unprofessionalism.I ended up canceling my application and will consider renting here in the future if James leaves.

Do NOT live at Lineage. The property manager is terrible, the apartment amenities are mediocre and the community is EXTREMELY LOUD! You will be surrounded by loud tenants and loud fixed up cars driving extremely fast down Heritage Parkway. It is not a safe community. I recommend you FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE.

I came in last September and will never recommend anyone to go there. They switched management within the first few months I joined with a roommate I already was with, and the faculty then was ridiculously awful and downhill from there. Fire alarm went out, I asked to be contacted due to dogs and both of us not being home, finally contacted them again and got a bold lie stating they’d contacted us several times (I’d been watching my calls, my junk, email, etc) and nothing had happened, as batteries were taped to our door. After emailing yet again stating it was a lie and nobody contacted neither of us, nothing was emailed back, so we unfortunately did not have a working fire alarm. Could have called the fire department on them for being illegal. Watched the management go head to head with a few of my neighbors and try to kick them out for various reasons, they began trying to find ways to ticket cars and tow in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT instead of giving anyone fair warning, the office hours were never correct and I could never just “go to the office” as I was told due to they would always close early, (oh but they were always there!). I gave up asking for help. The ONLY time we actually got good help was when we had an emergency pipe come off in the sink and flooded the kitchen. Other than that, don’t ever go there, they’re terrible, you hear everything between the walls, and make you feel like you’re walking on eggshells to not be evicted.

BEWARE!!!Please avoid living in this community at all costs. The community has changed ownership, and as a result the sense of community and professionalism toward the tenants is non-existent. In our time being here, they have changed the rules to limit the way tenants are able to express themselves outside their home (on their front porch and in their backyard/patio/deck), providing fines for things such as "excessive" plants and kiddie pools on the deck (during the height of summer). They do not provide warnings, and instead will immediately charge you $50, and when you attempt to discuss the matter with them, they redirect you to the lease and are not willing to have a conversation further (despite the lease not aligning with what the fine is for). Also, keep an eye on your vehicle. Some residents have been towed even with a pass present. Tow costs over $500 from what our neighbors have shared.Additionally, the community manager is, to be blunt, awful. Autumn is extremely antagonistic, argumentative, unwilling to hear the tenants side and concerns, rude, and very hostile. Will even threaten you will legal recourse, for what i have no clue. When I went to try and discuss the matters with her, she made me feel extremely uncomfortable waving her hands everywhere and approaching me from the other side of the desk. I'm 6 months pregnant and felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe in the manner. When I attempted to ask her to please not approach me, she cut me off and told me to leave the office. I came back to my partner very shaken and stated I would not interact with her any further. I imagine this is what her goal is so she does not have to interact with you.Lastly, the community itself has gone downhill. While the maintenance workers do their best to maintain the community, it is impossible as many residents do not respect the community. Trash is often left strewn about the area. We had children peeling paint off our steps (which is meant to be there to serve as a warning/indicator that there are steps) and then they would leave it in the grass for dogs or other animals to get into. Cars are constantly parking in the emergency fire lane area or simply in front of other peoples' vehicles, making it difficult or impossible to park your own vehicle in your assigned parking space. There's also been instances where tenants and their visitors are leaning on other tenants cars, and when politely asked to not do this, we were met with hostility and threats. The ONLY praise I can give to this community at this point, is that the two maintenance workers (Kenny and Drew) do try to do their best. They respond to maintenance requests quickly, and do attempt to keep the community clean, but it's impossible to keep up with it when others do not respect the area. Im sure they are also limited in their ability due to "funding issues". Despite rent being the highest it has been in the 5 years we have been here with no changes to the unit.We are starting a family and planned to stay here but our perspective has severely changed, and we will not be renewing our lease again, when the time comes. Honestly regret signing the lease and wish we were month to month so they could not throw the $3,000 termination in our face. Not very professional to tell a tenant that the solution they have is to break the lease and pay the fine. Totally taking advantage of peoples situation and is kind of a trap.

bad new management , trying to charge us double fees... there's only one garage per rental if that... claims it was a "glitch with the system"... apparently A LOT of glitches with this community lately.. towing cars of residents (you can't park here for more than 3 days without moving your vehicle ), mishandling of rent.-changing my rent amount during a lease agreement).. a nearly $300 increase. ...saying that kids need to be supervised by an adult...yet they advertise playgrounds, in order to play outside with their neighborhood friendsyou can't go on vacation without fearing that your car will be towedThe apartments are really dark... not updated by todays standards and overpriced, charging $2500 for a 2 bedroom, one bath (800sq ft)plus you need to pay community fees on top of your PGEthe manager has no idea of who lives where and prides herself on having a "all units rented"... yet at least 10 of the rentals have decided to move out within the last 2 months because of herThe only good thing is the maintanence staff

My family and I lived at Lineage for almost 2yrs and I have nothing but nice things to say. It's off of the main road, a little neighborhood of its own and feels that way. Management and staff are super friendly, fast acting, compassionate and with having a family, it's that much more important!

Great management autumn really makes sure you are comfortable and happy with your new place and will do anything in her power to get you what you need, the staff is all helpful and respectful and great at making the grounds look nice and tidy and the places themselves are in great condition and will get things replaced correctly as needed

Their maintenance staff was here this morning and fixed my fan while I was gone. Returned to a working ceiling fan and a fun note stating maintenance had been in the unit. They were careful that my kitty did not run out and so far, I love how friendly everyone is, and how prompt they pick up the phone.

I would strongly advise anyone considering living at this apartment complex to look elsewhere. While our experience was initially fine under the previous management, the new management is extremely rude and antagonistic. Their behavior pushed my family over the edge and ultimately led us to move away.Additionally, one of the employees at the community is extremely creepy, and I felt unsafe countless times over the last few years that I lived here. It's truly disappointing that the new management treats their tenants with such disrespect, especially when we always paid our dues on time and never caused any problems. It's not too much to ask for basic human decency and respect, but apparently, that's too much to ask for at this complex. To anyone considering moving here, I strongly advise against it. Save yourself the trouble and find a different place to live. Good luck to new tenants, because our experience was really that bad when new management took over.

The new management is really disappointing. They are disrupting the sense of community here. Having lived here for over a year, I initially loved being a resident here. Now I’m not so sure. They changed a lot of the policies including raising the rent (even though the lease agreement was on an annual basis). They also changed the parking policy,,, towing people’s cars who are residents. Many of the families in this community home are finding themselves shutout due to new “laws”. They are also blocking negative reviews on social media.

Greystar is absolutely the worst management company I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. My family was discriminated against. Finally decided to break my lease after living at Lineage Apartments became absolutely unbearable. The final straw for me was when management threatened to call the police on my 9 year old child because he was playing unsupervised. Management and a neighbor falsely accused my son of property damage. When cops came, they could not prove any such property damage took please. Mind you my child is black, so it presents a major safety risk to call the police and falsely accuse my son of a crime. Now that I’ve been moved out, I continue to get bills from lineage even though I’ve paid their move out fees in full. First, I called PGE to cancel my account. Something went wrong with the automated request and it did not process. A week ago I received a bill from PGE for a bill charging me for power after the date of my move out. I reached out to Autumn (property management), her response essentially is that I’m out of luck since the bill was left in my name even though the usage is clearly after my move out date. Fine, I’ll eat the $84 dollars and pay the power bill for Greystar. Today I received another bill, this time from Realpage for utilities. Again, this bill is for after I moved out. Maybe they think because I’m willing to eat the power bill cost I would also be willing to pay their utilities for them? I was told by management that the utilities is my responsibility even though the bill period clearly shows 2/1 - 2/28 (I moved on 2/3). On my final move out bill I was charged $135 for utilities directly from Greystar. Now they are trying to charge me an additional $124 in utilities through realpage (essentially trying to double charge me).I reached out to Shannon but of course she has not responded. Before you rent here, look up “Greystar” and read through all their reviews. Your’ll save yourself somd headache by not renting their properties. They are not family friendly plus the racism my family dealt with is beyond unforgivable.Just stay away from Lineage, stay away from Greystar.
