Nitro Knitters is a friendly and welcoming local yarn shop offering a variety of beautiful yarns and quality classes for knitting and crocheting. Although geared towards knitters, it is great for crocheters as well. The shop has an amazing, huge selection where customers could spend an hour just looking around. It offers a good mix of less expensive commercial yarns and pricier hand-dyed yarns, including all the weights and thicknesses one could want, with much of the beautiful yarn made locally.
The staff is super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist, whether helping to pick colors, decipher a pattern, or choose project materials. The store inspires visitors and caters to everyone from beginners to experts. For convenience, it also operates an online shop with reliable, fast shipping, and they will even wind yarn before sending it. As the nicest yarn store in the area, it is a highly recommended first stop for all project needs.
Incredible! A wonderful array of yarn, notions and books. Employees are friendly and helpful. I love the ability to drop in (for a fee, on every other Wednesday) to obtain assistance from talented, kind Ann.
