Last night I was pulled over and received a warning due to my tail lights not working, this was a Friday night. I could not figure out the issue, and my normal shop was closed till monday morning when i needed to be back at work. I stopped in here Saturday they took alook and resolved the issue in an hour and charged me a very fair amount! Will go again.

This is by far the best mechanic in town! They’re honest, reliable, and get the job done quickly. It’s hard to find a place you can truly trust, but they always explain everything clearly and never try to upsell unnecessary work. Excellent service and great people — I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic!

As someone that has been into cars for a decade plus, cars come with problems and need mechanics that know what they’re doing. From his first location in Tigard to a second location in Beaverton and his third location in Hillsboro. I have stuck with Amir and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Honest, knowledgeable and straightforward. There is no sugar coating involved which really helps when you’re trying to gauge what you should do next. I recommend taking all your cars and if any family or friends ask for a reliable trustworthy mechanics, Amir and his team will not make you look bad in front of them.

I haven't even picked my car up yet and I'm leaving a review. I searched for a mechanic and came across this establishment. Read a lot of reviews and everyone was RIGHT. Every employee here is kind and has great customer service. You don't feel ripped off like they're trying to get over on you especially being a woman. Prices are reasonable. Before you try to say they're expensive or charging you a crazy price go try the car dealership. They went above and beyond. Like finding this place actually feels like a blessing. The times we live in everyone is trying to get over on you it feels like. Times are really hard for all of us right now. To finally come across a business like this who really are trying to help people without them breaking the bank is outstanding. They take pride in making sure their customers leave happy and can still afford to put food on their table is beyond words. This indeed will be my households mechanic for any car service. Thank you guys so much.

I’ve been taking all my vehicles to One Time Auto Repair for years, and they’ve always taken great care of me. The team is honest, reliable, and really knows what they’re doing. They always fix my cars right the first time and stand behind their work. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, but these guys are the best. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I got a check engine light and decided to come in based off reviews, I let them know my issues with the car and what code popped up when I ran the obd2. They came out to the parking lot and gave it a quick 2-4 minute inspection and checked/did acouple things and then they reset the code and like magic... the issues were gone and car wasnt giving any engine light anymore. I came in expecting to drop couple hundred dollars and hours of my time but I spent no money and was in and out with 10 mins. Not only that but I got a few tips/pointers inregards to how to maintaining my car a little better. The dude that helped me seemed very knowledgeable. Shout out to Ali for being super helpful when times are tough

Probably the best experience I could have had at a mechanics and going forward I would like to continue working with One Time Auto Repair due to the sincerity of their work and customer service. I just need to first highlight that Ameer saved me about $1k by thoroughly reviewing my car and ultimately deciding that what may have needed to be fixed doesn’t need to be and he wasn’t comfortable proceeding with a repair that may not even fix the issue (PCM signaling radiator fan won’t turn on even though it does and everything works properly). I own an automatic 2006 PT Cruiser that was having some shifting issues and Ameer and Ale were WONDERFUL throughout my entire experience. Their communication was awesome especially since they were not only communicating to me in person but to my partner over the phone as he set everything up for me prior to bringing the car in. They were extremely patient, efficient, accommodating, knowledgeable and fair. They explained the issues my car was having to my partner and then myself when I came in to pick it up and I truly appreciate how they explained things because it was in a sincere manner that didn’t make me feel stupid (idk if that makes sense lol). All in all, I highly recommend coming here, not only did they get me in quickly and finish repairs/diagnostic within an hour or two, but the staff is honest and kind.

While stopping to visit my friend during a roadtrip, my car started making an odd noise. To be on the safe side I decided to have the car checked out. The guys at One Time Auto Repair were able to fit me in to take a glance at my car the same day and were so helpful in identifying and fixing the problem a day later! Ended up needing to tune up my engine (replacing spark plugs, coils, the catalytic converter, etc.) and they walked me through why each component needed replacing. Truly above and beyond customer service. They sent photos as they worked on the car and even showed me the parts that got replaced when I picked it up.
They even gave recommendations for me to do to help my car in the long term. I feel like everyone working here truly wants to help their customers, whether it be someone who’s been seeing them for years, or someone like me who was passing through. Though I don’t live in the Portland area, if I ever end up needing a car service here again, I know where I’ll be bringing my car.

We have 3 vehicles - Accord with over 360k miles, Sienna with over 220k miles, and Volvo S80 with over 200k miles. One Time Auto has kept them running reliably over the years.

I LOVE Amir and Ali! Rarely do you go to a mechanic that is as knowledgeable, friendly, considerate, and timely as the team that I see at One Time Auto Repair. I have been going to them for everything from oil changes to new engines. And the one time I had to go to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and they tried to up-sell me on something, Amir was kind enough to explain why it wasn't necessary for my car while simultaneously not making me feel ignorant about my lacking car knowledge for the model I drive. One Time Auto Repair is far and beyond the best mechanic team that I have ever been to. Thank you, guys!
