They are very short staff and no one returns calls here. Tried to call several days and no one called me back. So, I go into the branch and they are all just talking and laughing with other co-workers about personal things and not answering calls?! Seriously how unprofessional is that! Don’t waste your time at this branch, terrible customer service.

When I moved to United StatesOnpoint was the recommendation from one of my friend at the time . I open my checking account with them successfully but what I didn't know is that I will found out at the time the Discrimination that I experience in this bank all-over the place. The verbal abuse is been of the chart specially from the team attend the international transactions .I literally have someone telling me that they aren't going to pick the check for me and because I have an accent they will make sure that any of my concerns would be considered in the future period .Just because I contacted them after my wvacation to Mexico to let them know that I got over charge with an extra bottle of champagne after checked my finance l noticed the scam in the all-inclusive hotel anyways I went to chase and I have to say the comparison between the two banks is ridiculous I can speak for the experience of having both at the same time the costumer service in chase is ridiculously good compare to Onpoint to this day they go the extra mile to make sure that you are well taking care no rejections no Discrimination they have your back when you travel even my car loan with them no questions ask is just how a bank should be sorry Onpoint you should understand that USA is full of immigrants and that an accent is not a requirement to get status in the land of the free Ironic isn't?

Fed up with bank. They cancel my debit card right when my auto ins is going to withdraw my monthly payment. My ins is down in vegas. Been with them before moving from there to oregon. The only way I can update my payment info is in person. So thanks to this bank I will not have auto ins. Their always messing up. I swear if my insurance gets cancelled I will withdraw all my money one of these days!? I had it with you guys, it's ridiculous ?

I used to really like this bank, but they have become just like all the other big boys that treat you like a number instead of a customer. I will be searching for a new COMMUNITY credit union that will actually serve my needs and allow me to access my funds in the form I want. These companies have gotten ridiculous.

Yesterday I visited OnPoint and was helped by a most delightful Membership Relationship Officer, Arun Singh. She was pleasant, efficient and bottom line helped me with things I didn't even know I needed to ask.Normally I don't review financial institutions... this time I will make an exception.

It pains me to write this review. I have been with this Credit Union since 1993 - 29 years going all the way back deep into the Portland Teacher Credit Union days. It has been a great financial institution...has been. It is now a mega-institution with nearly 500,000 members and many billions in assets. With that growth comes really major alienation of long-time members - particularly in the communications area. Twice now this year I have been treated really poorly, and I am very bummed about it. Transferring one of my 2 mortgages to another membership account without bothering to tell me at all what they were doing and why they were doing it is NOT cool...not at all cool. Having their insurance services wing (a contractor it turns out) selling me substandard insurance from poorly rated (customer service / claims, not financialization) companies - Stillwater Insurance and, by association, Foremost Insurance - is also NOT cool. I have been forced to buy entirely new insurance after having uber horrific experiences with their recommended insurance providers. I am still dealing with transferring insurance because their recommended providers won't even return my phone calls regarding why they haven't cancelled my policies as I requested. Go with smaller credit unions - this one has gotten far too big to provide good service to their members. I wish I could switch, but I have 2 mortgages with these guys...far easier said than done. OnPoint needs a major management shakeup - I'll be at the member meetings from here on out fighting for change - bring back the old days when they actually cared...

I had no idea this place had gotten so bad been using this branch for years, even got my wife switched over. Recently they have really dropped the ball, the workers at this location are extremely incompetent and fail to do some of the most simple request. They give unrealistic time frames for things causing the customer to waste their time. Not to mention I just found out their currency exchange rate is horrendous, leaves you feeling like you've been robbed by your own credit union. Hopefully management gets the incompetents figured out or I'll find a different credit union.

I went to this Onpoint location on 03/01/21 at 3:24 pm to get a cashier's check, which I have done several times and they only ask for your member number and driver's license ID for verification. However, the bank teller asked for my debit card as well which I thought was strange.I asked her why she needed to see my debit card too, but she ignored me. She either didn't heard me asked the question or she didn't have a good explanation as to why she needed it. She had my driver's license ID, member number card, and debit card on her table lined up. I have been an Onpoint member for 9 years and this is the first time I have been asked for my debit card. In fact, on January 2021 I asked for a cashier's check also and I was only asked for my member number and driver's license ID. If there was any new changes implemented the correct course of action is to inform your members of the changes and/or at least explain why you need to see the debit card too. It would also be good to see consistency in regards to showing proof of identity i.e. member number and driver's license ID only.

Been an Onpoint Personal and Business member for the past 12 years. Now I'm disabled, medically retired, so am just a personal use Onpoint Member. Unfortunately, I was away, out of the area for over 6 months, a stay that left me completely out of touch with friends here in Oregon and I did not have reliable internet/phone access to my house sitter or even my bank account. I learned my suposed friend who was a neighbor/house sitter wasn't taking care of my home, my mortgage or utilities and things were terribly behind. My family stepped in to Investigate when we found out that I only had $187 dollars left in my checking account that had close to $11k in it when I left on my trip. My credit/debit numbers had been stolen and maxed out online. Even with a police report proving the loss, Onpoint has not helped me like we expected. While a great Onpoint CSR did work hard to have VISA take care if the $20k worth of VISA debt without any problem. Onpoint didn't give me one cent back of my over $11k debit card fraud loss, all because they stated I knew and allowed the housesitter access to my cards. My housesitter paid two bills I asked her to pay using my debit card number online, two payments she didn't need my actual pin code to make. Somehow her family or friends got into my property and gleaned all my active card numbers and begin to make hundreds of prepaid visa card purchases over the months I was gone. My housesitter never once used a card/pin at an ATM, so it wasn't her doing the thefts. Summary: 1- BEWARE OF WHO YOU PERSONALLY TRUST AROUND YOUR PROPERTY. 2- BE AWARE OF ONPOINT'S MEMBER AGREEMENT and their fine print innuendo, even tho the Onpoint CSR wished she could help, my total honesty and too much information caused a bigger issue. 3- USE VISA, not Onpoint Debit Card for your purchases. 4- SAD, but my caretakers and I are left thinking it would have been best NOT to be forthright or provide the entire story, because ONPOINT used my honesty against me in this situation. 5- SHRED CARDS and SHRED card/account statements (I was literally told by an Onpoint CSR that I was culpable for the loss because I left my cards and statements out where my friends had access to them, even though I was away for 6 months without access to my home). 6- Even if you have brain injury causing memory/speech problems,, DON'T keep your pin number letter with your bank file folder and don't write your pin number on the back of any cards, period! 7- PICK ANY OTHER BANK OR CU, but only after you really understand the member agreement. First all you need to do is look at all the most recent one star reviews and see the incompetent staff that works there. My problem persists particularly with their branch manager Kristen. She is the most uninformed horrible manager I have ever came across.I had a LOC with them and I lost my job and worked out a extension payment plan to have a three month extension to pay on my LOC. It was a contracted document that I went into the branch and spoke with a representative to set up and didn’t have to pay for three months.Literally two weeks later they went into my account and took out the little amount that I had just a few hundred dollars and left me with nothing I went into the branch show them the documents even spoke to the manager Kristen who told me there was nothing she could do and couldn’t return the money. I receive no further assistance through their call center or any other branches. We ended up being evicted and losing our place we were displaced for several months due to this error. Now after getting back on track. I have retained legal counsel since this was due to breach of contract. My attorney recently set forth the motion outlining this case to their legal department, Washington County Court House and attn to Rob Stuart and Jim Armstrong.Since the branch manager of this location Kristen is outlined in this case she will probably be pulled from the branch by their legal department to discuss the outline of the motion set forth that was due to her reckless management.Read the reviews and avoid this financial institution at all cost there is so much competition with reputable names who actually care about the communities they serve not this place
