I have spent thousands on shoes over the years, trying to find a pair that didn't leave my arches burning. I got to the point where I would take shoes off partway through a walk because barefoot hurt less.
Tim has helped me find the best pair of shoes ever though. No more barefoot walks for me. I was very hesitant to spend more money on shoes but the return policy set me at ease. I didn't need it though. I will forever be grateful to Tim for taking the time to help me find a pair of shoes I can actually walk in.

Lovely experience working with Portland Running & Walking Co. They made sure I was in the right shoe and returned a pair for me so that I could find a better fit. Don’t waste your time and money buying shoes and returning pairs on Amazon, just go here and get the shoes you need.

I was looking for walking shoes that I can comfortabley wear all day. After being overwhelmed with all sorts of online information, ads, and opinions, I decided to look up a shoe store near me and thankfully I came across the Portland Running & Walking Co. From the moment I walked into the store, the atmosphere was welcoming and I could tell the staff was eager to help. I spoke with Andy and explained that I was looking for walking shoes that I could use at the hospital as I had been using Crocs that were flat and provided no support. Andy took into consideration the information that I presented him with as well as conducting his owns assessments of my walking style/gait. Andy was able to present me with a few options and sizes to help address my needs. I ended up finding the perfect shoe that met my needs and style! :)

I’ve always really enjoyed coming here and the staff has been so lovely. But today there was a gentleman that was extremely rude. I believe he was upset that I wanted to exchange a pair of shoes. Bummer to feel like an inconvenience after so many great experiences. Sadly won’t be coming back after being treated with such disrespect.

This place is fantastic my doctor recommended for my probmatic feet. The nice gentlemen spent so much time giving me options because I'm hard size to find . He was so patient with me. Settled on a pair of Hokas so far so good. They are a bit spendy but worth it in long run.

Aaron was very helpful, kind and compassionate. I am recovering from an injury and looking for a different style shoe than I have worn in the past. He brought out several pairs to try and was offering more if need be. I’m very happy with my new shoes and my experience. Thank you Aaron!

They were so helpful to someone who knew nothing about what shoe would be best for plantar fasciitis. Mark/Matt (I can’t remember, sorry!) was especially so kind and gracious!

Came here with some very specific needs for my feet and running shoes. I spent at least 30 minutes with an associate who brought me several different pairs of shoes to try. Turns out they did not have a pair that would fit my needs and recommended a brand that they do not carry which ended up being exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely come back here for any and all of my running needs, great experience and friendly, helpful staff!

I have shopped here for years and always had a great experience but today I was "helped" by Kien. He wasn't very knowledgeable and acted bored and uninterested. I asked for suggestions but I didn't get any. I was very disappointed. I did end up buying a pair of Brooks just because I've had them before and was going out of town and was desperate. I had to lace up shoes myself because he would tie them so loosely my foot would slide out of shoe when I stood up to walk. Maybe it was his first day, I don't know. Just a bummer.
