One of the staff members, who appeared to be in a leadership position, stood in front of the checkout line loudly addressing her coworkers with politically charged insults aimed at a customer. Regardless of one's political views, such discussions should never take place on the floor, especially not in a manner that denigrates others. The most disappointing aspect was that this behavior came from someone in a leadership role. I come here to shop for materials, not to be subjected to loud and unprofessional political rants. Everyone shops here, and I will now travel four miles further to avoid encountering such unprofessionalism again.

Massive home improvement store with limited customer service with the trade-off of lower prices. They probably have what you need but don't expect anyone to really help you. There are better places to get similar products but you will probably pay more.

I came to Home Depot because I’m remodeling my bathroom. I parked next to the cart return. There was no sign indicating NO Parking.There was another car parked in front of me. the lot attendant proceeded to tell me I can’t park there and I need to move my car. I pointed out that there is no signage indicating NO parking. ( I also have a baby so it’s not easy to just get in the car and move it). I also mentioned the other car that was parked there. He said he couldn’t help it because they parked before he got there. I told him again, there is no sign and there is others cars parked there so I was not moving mine.I went in and proceeded to shop and a few minutes later there is a page over the intercom to move my car.In all my years, I could not believe the lot attendant was making such a stink. Honestly seems like he targeted me because I am a woman and when I didn’t obey he wanted to reprimand me.I spoke with the manager Erin who was very kind and she apologized. She explained this is an on-going issue because they like to put there big carts there. She aplogized that things escalated and that they need to put a sign up.The lot attendant could use a lesson in customer service. The manager on duty Erin was nice enough apologizing.Home Depot: do better.

I've been coming to this home Depot for decades. My main issue is that they usually do not have the most current clearance deals that you can find in many Facebook groups and online throughout Reddit and what not. I'm not sure why this location and the other locations within the Portland metro area seem to be slow on the uptake for clearance deals, but So

Home Depot is great for the home handyman who needs a tool or a particular item right away. The hours are generous and if you're in a bind for a repair, you can often find what you need. I have found the staff to be kind and helpful. It the person you're talking to doesn't know the answer, he or she will quickly call around to find someone who does. Like any large chain, it is designed to provide similar or identical services across store locations, and they enjoy good success here. It's still advantageous to shop around for the best prices, of course, but in general, Home Depot is there when you need it.

I had to travel to Home Depot a several times to get the essential stuff for a painting project at my house. I should mention that I had no clue what to get and where to find everything, I was just trying to follow my contractor orders. Finding the suitable shade of color that I had in my mind made me to go back and forth to this branch, even 4 times in one day. Gratefully I was welcomed and helped every time by helpful staff members and received an excellent service. Between all people, I would like to highlight Kegan. A young fellow who patiently listened and helped and made me feel comfortable and appreciated as a customer. Having people like Kegan is sure a huge asset to any type of business. I would love to see him getting recognized by the management for the professional manner towards the customers. Thank you!
