Jean did a fantastic job, very fast and efficient! No pain or hematoma from the phlebotomy.
For ease of experience, schedule your visit online, park at Safeway, go to the back wall center and you will see the door for Quest. Check in via text messaging and you will be in and out very quickly.

Should have read the reviews. I wish I could add a picture of my arm, I can't. I have a huge hematoma. I know my veins, he did not. First time he ever saw them. I told him I needed a small butterfly needle. He did give me a butterfly needle but he later said he used the biggest butterfly needle he could use. Not sure why he would do that and not listen. My arm was filling up the gauze after. My vein looks big but it is not, they roll and are small. I told him, he did not care. Sounds like you need to hire new people that care. Or Quest just doesn't care how they run their business. People come here sometimes for horrible tests done. Listen to the person as they know their body. My arm hurts so bad, should not have ig he listened. My visit was June 17th at 2:30 if the boss wants to discuss what happened with that employee. This didn't need to happen if he cared and listened.

Super helpful and knowledgeable phlebotomist.

If you want a rude, angry old woman to jab you for a blood draw, this is the place for you! I came early for my scheduled appointment and was seen half an hour after the appointment time. The sole practitioner told me she wouldn't see me because it was her lunch break. I told her I had an 1130 appointment. She threw up her hands and walked away without saying anything. A few minutes later she took me back and was slapping things around in anger. I really wanted to leave but was afraid I'd be billed. She was terse and not gentle. When I went to place a urine cup in the cubby as directed, there were several other samples waiting in there. I had to move one over to fit mine in. Gross.

I had a great fasting blood sample taken here at Quest. Based on other reviews, I'd say the phlebotomist really makes a difference with your experience. Annabelle was amazing, professional and quick to find a vein on me in a single painless stick (not common unless I get someone great like her!). I checked in 10 mins early and was out before my scheduled appointment time.
My only issues with Quest itself:
1. I had to schedule a month out to get in for an early fasting test before 8am since they're clearly booked up but if you don't have to go fasting, the day time availability was almost immediate.
2. The calendar sync was AN HOUR later on my Google calendar but when you click on the appt, the correct time shows up. I don't know how they manage that but don't depend on the calendar sync for your appt, put it in yourself and go about your day.

Annabelle was incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite not showing up with my paperwork printed out, she recommended a few places I could go to have it printed, and was willing to take me once I came back.

I am going to tell you how to have an ok experience here. Even if it means waiting for your results, get the earliest apt you can, and by early i mean 9am or earlier. Especially if its fasting. Anything later and the wait might be pretty serious.
-Plan on that appointment being at least 1/2 after the scheduled start time, so load a bunch of goodies on your phone, charge those earbuds and prepare to wait.
-Have patience for the person doing your draw, she is only given 10 for each client to do something that takes at least 15-20 on a good day, assuming all her computer/printer stuff is working (which is a big ask) and she doesn't need to use the bathroom.
This isn't her fault. Quest sucks, everyone knows that but they are also cheap..like WAY cheaper then everyone else and cheap often means inconvenient.
If you are reading this likely you are getting a test because somethings not going well. Know that you are loved.

I've read the other reviews and am grateful to not be alone.
First off, the location is IN THE BACK, go towards the pharmacy. It wasn't easy to find and several Safeway staff couldn't help me. So weird.
There are OTHER locations, so try those out instead of booking here.
I had an appointment and was seen promptly, but the technician was very upset over a balance on my account. I informed her I had I my known about it for two days and would promptly take care of it. Instead of professional problem solving, the technician created a very stressful environment and went on and on about how important it was that I pay the balance. It felt patronizing and belittling.
I informed that I would handle it as soon as possible but didn't call over the weekend. I asked if she could still do the lab work. It was vitally important for the timing, and it took a while to get a straight answer. Ends up it was easy to bypass the notification and the blood was still able to be drawn. The fact that the technician made my billing issue her only focus and created a stressful environment was unprofessional and unhelpful, especially when needles and blood are involved.
I didn't feel like it was an issue for her, so I tried not to explain and bring her into the situation, but it was like she wasn't hearing anything I said and just paniced over the notification on her screen.
I've had great experiences at the Westover location and will be going to any other space than this one.

I really appreciated their Quest kisk being made to be accessible using a three-finger swipe down to activate a voice prompt for the blind.

This location lost my first appointment and couldn't fit me in. Then I came back over a week later, and they couldn't find my paperwork. The tech kept saying "this is why we tell people to bring in a hard copy ..this system is just so terrible"...yet I was NEVER told to bring in hard copies, and my doctor confirmed the labs were received via fax. The tech said they couldn't print anything there, and a new fax would take 24 hours to show in their system. I had to wait for my doctor's office to open, have them send me the paperwork, then go down the street to a postal annex and get them printed, then come back. The only good part was the tech fit me in right away (after she loaded the printer on the computer that I wasn't allowed to use to print the lab orders).
I was also asked if I wanted to pay over $400 for tests that may or may not be covered by my insurance while at my appointment instead of waiting to see what my insurance covered.
An appointment that should have taken all of 5 minutes took over an hour.
Oh ...and the tech did find my paperwork...after I had already left to go get it printed. She didn't call to tell me she found it, despite verifying my phone number before I left.

Did the walk-in process with plenty of time before closing and completed all the paperwork. The lady working there took a patient back and then told me there wasn’t time even though there was still 30 minutes to closing and enough time for the patient ahead of me. Super rude and wouldn’t listen or try and accommodate me. I’ll gladly go somewhere else.

Was nervous after reading reviews but had a great experience getting my 6 year old’s blood drawn for the first time today. I wish I remembered the name of the gal who helped us. She was so great with my kid and made her feel at ease and was fast! She even engaged with little sister! We were in and out quickly and seen promptly at our appointment time.

The people leaving bad reviews, are upset they had a minor inconvenience, most likely caused by themselves. If you follow exactly as they say, you will be in and out, in 10 min or less. I have had no problems and I have been numerous times. Also, there is one person working, so don’t expect them to do 4 different people’s jobs.
Schedule online, if you want a guaranteed appointment because walk-ins aren’t a priority(as it should be).
The phlebotomist I had today and last time, was very friendly, professional and made the process easy.
