Over 6 or 7 years I wrote a review about this place when it was Sabor Salvadoreño the picture I posted alone got viewed over 55000 times. That was then this is now! Once it changed hands everything from the entrance in is failing. The pupusas are AWFUL! Flavorless and sloppy. I’m so disappointed, I couldn’t eat them, threw $20 of food away.

The pupusas where halfway cooked no flavor. The previous owner had better quality pupusas. The place looks empty for a Saturday.

Food was decent but I was charged different from the prices listed on the menu. Maybe they add the tip?

This place was amazing and my family had been going regularly for years. It was a 5 star location for authentic Salvadorian food. New owners. The pupusas - chicharron con queso were mostly cheese and cost significantly more. Our order of Yucca Frita came without chicharron for which they said they had ran out but charged us the same. The new ownerships definitely changed things and not for the better. We are going to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them some time before going back and hope they have settled down. The super high price increase, the quality of the food, the bland energy of the restaurant was definitely a big downer. We tried them twice. Here is hoping things get better.

FRAUD ALERT! Food was good but very expensive. We ordered takeout and the cashier charged me more for my meal than I authorized. She must have been unsatisfied with my tip because she got a bad attitude. When I checked my bank account the next day, I was charged $2 more than I put on the receipt and signed for. Stay away from these dishonest people.

Menu format was a little confusing and missing descriptions, but food was good. Veggie tamales had good masa, weren't told they had chicken when we ordered and menu didn't say they had chicken. Pupusas we're a little harder than we've had in the past but I enjoyed them.

They took a long time. The food was okay but not great and I felt it was expensive. The Atole de maiz was delicious sweet with good flavor. I ordered a Salvadorean quesadilla (bread) to eat with my Atole, it never came. I ordered a pupusa chicharron and cheese but they didn't bring the salsa or curtido until about an hour later after I had eaten it. I was still waiting for my bread and asked for another Atole. Didn't get either. I had also ordered yucca and chicharron but never received that either. So we left. I might come back to try again maybe I came on a bad day. I was charged $40 I was confused since I didn't receive the food I ordered. I've had better pupusas from a Salvadorean food truck in Woodburn.
