Wow! I can't imagine how this could have been any better. Victor was great for both moves and Nick the owner was very responsive and even stepped in and helped us on the second phase. This experience was way better than I expected.

From beginning to end, Nick and his team were friendly, communicative, and great to work with! The two movers arrived right on time, and, in spite of some hiccups with parking and elevators (my fault, not theirs!), they were easygoing and incredibly speedy. I hope I won't be moving again anytime soon, but next time I do move, I'll definitely work with Summit again!

The movers took great care with my elderly mom's antique furniture. They were speedy, friendly and professional. everything arrived in great shape and they placed the furniture where mom wanted it. They made a stressful move much easier.

I highly recommend Summitt Moving. The moving team was professional, courteous and Handled my belongings with care and expertise just as if they were handling their own belongings. they were knowledgeable on how to load and unload utilizing all the space so everything I was moving fit in their truck. They came prepared with all the moving supplies that were necessary They arrived on time and deducted their lunch time from the total time charges. I have had other movers in the past and Summit moving out did others by a long shot. You will not be disappointed if you book this company for your move.

I've worked with several moving companies in the past, and Summit Moving has to be the best. Amazing customer service and hard working movers! Nick was great at following up with several questions I had leading up to the move date and the movers, Victor and Jeremiah, were very efficient. They made sure to ask questions if they weren't sure about something and were very strategic and careful when moving furniture through tight doorways. It was a 4-hour move and Victor and Jeremiah did not slow down or stop moving once. Simple, quick, and easy - words I never thought I'd use to describe a move.

Summit moving is the best moving company I've ever used, and I've hired many a moving company in the past. The first thing that's different about Summit is the owner, Nick. He's working on your estimate right away, and he knows his business. You'll get an accurate timing of your move, and in my case, it was right down to the minute. Now, this is the ordinary stuff that Summit and Nick excel at, but there's even more to love about this company. My move was not going well, I wasn't finished packing and I was pretty much in a panic. Nick stepped in and offered to move the date so that I could work on it more, and when I decided to move all the big stuff now, Nick had a second crew come help pack and even stopped by himself so it would get done quicker for my budgeting needs. I wholeheartedly recommend Summit Movers and owner, Nick.. if you want everything to go smooth

Scheduled moving for 12/16/2022. Nick was personable and helpful. They have a e-inventory, so that was nice. I could update things as I thought about it and planned a little better. Nick checked in with me a few times to confirm inventory. He was responsive via text while planning. The day came for the move and one of their people called out. They had to reschedule my move to the next day. This put a crimp in my plans as I had the entire weekend planned out and repair people coming to the NEW house for various items. I had to have people at the new house to mitigate that on moving day. The movers were young and fun. Personally, I'm glad we were all joking around, although some may have seen them as unprofessional. It took all day to move. My dining room chairs got some scratches, but it's a cheap set, so I wasn't too concerned about it. I sent some items home with the moving guys. Unfortunately, 1 of the items (a nightstand) had some items still in it. I texted Nick and it took a few weeks to resolve. He was less responsive at this point. It was my bad to not have thought about it and he was likely busy, but it was frustrating. He did give me a discount for the reschedule as it did cause some issues. Overall, it went pretty smooth and all my stuff made it :)

Nick's team was suburb.They showed up on time were courteous and did a fine job. After walking through rooms & discuss what was happening they efficiently wrapped the necessary items, dismantled the necessary items & loaded on the truck. After a short lunch they unloaded, put together neccessary items & disposed of their packing materials. I would use them again & recommend to anyone.

UPDATED REVIEW ON 1/5/2021: I spoke with Nick this morning regarding the issues below. The email box I sent my inquiries to were "no reply" boxes, though I didn't receive a reply that they were, and Nick never received them. I consider this to be a small business error. Nonetheless, Nick and I talked about the issues and Summit made up for the fiasco described below by refunding us the extra $200 that we spent for the extra labor and hotel. Additionally, I feel I was a bit unfair in my review. The crew that did show up on the 18th were on-time, clean, friendly, and efficient. They did not damage any of the walls in our brand-new home and put all the furniture together and in place. They even move the recliners twice since they wouldn't fit into our living room. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for original issues with the move. However, I really do appreciate the company reaching out and making things right. It goes a long way and should be a lesson to all businesses out there to take care of your customers. It really does matter. Thank you Summit. ORIGINAL REVIEW ON 1/4/2022: I made arrangements for a 12/17 move date on 11/9 with confirmations on 12/9. We had everything to go for the move and stayed at a hotel on the 16th as everything was stripped down to move. On 12/17 at 8am, I received a call from Nick stating that two of his guys called in "sick" and that he was "scrambling" to get extra guys to get the move completed. Lo and behold, Nick couldn't deliver and had to reschedule for the next day. This caused us to spend an unplanned additional night in the hotel. Nick said he would get four guys to help quicken the move. As a result, he raised the hourly rate. I asked emailed Nick asking, "Why did my estimate increase?" I received no response. At this point, I had to bite the bullet and proceed as I had to move out of the apartment we were living in. On the 18th, the guys showed up on time. We asked about being masked since we were told they were sick and were told that no one called in sick. Two of the guys that were supposed to move us on the 17th were out of town. So Nick lied to us to cover his inability to appropriately plan his required labor for the day. When the move was completed, Summit Moving provided us with a 10% discount for our trouble. After I did the math, it ended up costing us $200 more than the original estimate because Summit added an additional guy raising the hourly rate, which would not have been needed had they showed up as promised, and the extra night in a hotel for us. I wrote an email to Nick with no response and this is what my email stated verbatim: "Dear Summit Moving, While I appreciate the gesture of a 10% discount, it rings hollow since Summit sent four guys instead of three costing us $56.70 more per hour. The move ended up actually costing us $43.56 more on our move than the original estimate of $888.53. Because guys were scheduled who were actually out of town yesterday causing Summit to miss my move yesterday morning, we had to spend another night in a hotel as everything was stripped down in anticipation of a Friday move. This cost us an additional $156.00. So overall, Summit's error ended up costing us $200.00 more than it should. We would like that money back please." PLEASE SEE UPDATE ABOVE FOR THE RESOLUTION.
