I had a bad customer service experience. Today I rented a paint sprayer. Jacky, the employee who serviced me, gave me the equipment that was clean on the outside. But when I started working, it started leaking dirty water. After all the necessary work, I washed the spray gun clean. It was perfectly clean inside and out. But when I returned the equipment, Jacky told me that the water was leaking dirty. She saw that the spray gun was clean, but she didn't like the way I talked to her. She said she would still charge me $100 for cleaning and rinsing the spray gun. The manager didn't even bother to look into the matter; he didn't even check the equipment. I consider this disrespectful and rude behavior towards customers from Home Depot. And this is not the first time this has happened! They charged me $100, and I consider it fraud on their part. People like that should not work for this company!

The rental department customer service is sub par. What has happened to Home Depot’s focus on their customers? I had a tool rental that was broken upon leaving the store. I called for support immediately, tried the troubleshooting steps but it did not help. Upon returning and asking for some reasonable flexibility to make up for my inconvenience the employee accused me of lying about using the tool and asked me for pictures to prove it was broken, wow! After spending $1000+ in rentals in the last 12mo from them, I will take my business elsewhere from now on. Sad state of affairs over at HD in Beaverton.

Totally understaffed. The one guy working didn’t ask any of the 30 other employees at for assistance, just walked slowly around and let people wait for an hour. Stood in line from 7-8am to find out the tool I wanted to rent was broken.
