Very quick and efficient passport appointment, in and out in 10 mins even with photo service. All the employees I met were friendly and curteous.

For for underpaid overworked government workers they are really really nice but they are always short staffed for sure. You will spend a minimum of 45 minutes here. My biggest complaint is the air conditioning has been broken for 4 years. It is 98° in here and it has been for 4 years This is cruelty to the workers no one can afford AC? It's absolutely barbaric.

Excellent experience applying for a passport today. I thought I was prepared, with all the paperwork filled out in advance. Turned out I was missing a document but Shamila was very kind and helpful in sorting it out. She was apologetic that appointments were running a few minutes late. Even with the paperwork glitch, the whole appointment took less than 20 minutes. This was an absolute contrast to my previous horrendous experience getting passports for my kids in downtown Portland.
This location doesn’t currently have walk in passport services, so be sure to schedule an appointment online in advance.

Came in for a passport appointment for our daughter. There was a long general line, but a separate area for passport appointments. Shamila helped us and was excellent to work with!

Please read if you are considering applying for a passport at this facility!
Walk-ins are only available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 to 9:30. However, there are only 4 slots available for this one hour that are distributed at 7:30AM! If you miss it, you’ll have to come back another day and try again (what I eventually had to end up doing). Letting everyone know about this since it is not mentioned online anywhere.
Service wise, everyone is friendly, respectful, and efficient. Especially if you are patient and empathetic towards staff.

Just had amazing service from Shamila and Scott today. I didn’t know the protocol to send perfume and Shamila went above and beyond to help me package it. Scott was very patient when the address for my friend didn’t populate. Management should give them both a raise :)

If you would like to get patronized and yelled at in front of a lobby full of other customers by a guy name Scott with a bad attitude, you’ve found the right place! He’ll even gaslight you and tell you to calm down when you ask to go to a different employee and keep insulting you and yelling at you until you leave. If you really need an experience like that, THIS IS YOUR USPS! 👌

Saturday 11:45am. Tax season. Needed to drop off letters, huge line, not moving at all, because there seem to be lots of people not prepared to mail their stuff, and only ONE counter staffed.
The former is not their fault (PEOPLE, COME PREPARED, AND DON'T WASTE EVERYBODY'S TIME!), but the latter is. Saturdays is for most people the only time to go to the post office, and especially during a peak season like this, there should be more employees. They also should send people back if they come without all the need forms already completed.

I received a test from USPS that my package had arrived on Thursday 3/20/25 at 9:25am. Checked my mail box at 12:00pm, and no parcel or key to parcel post office box was in my mailbox. I called the Beaverton Post Office and explained what had happened, and was advised that they would contact the courier and check to see if it wasn't placed in wrong box. Friday morning, still nothing in my mailbox. Contacted Beaverton Post Office in person Friday around 9:45am and explained the situation to a person behind the counter. After a few minutes he returned and advised me that he spoke to the courier personally and stated they would check everything when mail was delivered in my area. As of Monday (3/24) still nothing. Attempted calling the Beaverton office numerous times today and could get no answer or answering machine. This office is terribly run & poor customer service.

Thankless job to work the counter. I’m always horrified at how rude customers can be. But I always have extraordinary service here. Thank you for all you do.
