Sudafed PE does NOT work! I just learned the FDA recently declared it ineffective, and that many doctors and pharmacists have doubted phenylephrine's effectiveness as well. For effective anti-congestants it's hidden behind the counter at the pharmacy. I actually spoke to one of the women who works at the pharmacy and she said nothing about that. Like okay, I get that you're hired by Walgreens and don't want to inform customers that they're about to waste their money for a drug that does nothing, but AT LEAST say that you have pseudoephrine behind the counter and offer it to me. But I guess you don't care about patients. If so, then work in another field. I’m just a customer, I assumed that I was getting the real Sudafed that actually works and had no idea that I was going to waste my hard earned money on a useless version. Second, shame on the Walgreens corporation for continuing to sell an OTC medication that has been declared by experts to be useless.

I had originally scheduled a COVID and Flu vaccine through the Walgreens located in NE MLK Blvd, however that appointment was cancelled at the last minute. Although this was frustrating at least that store had the decency of calling me to cancel before heading there. This store however didn't event call or send me an email. I don't drive and getting to Beaverton from Portland can be a expensive. I needed a COVID vaccine and flu shot because I was heading to Mexico and wanted to be immunized. When I got to the pharmacy I went to the area where the shots were going to be given only to realize that the pharmacy was closed. I asked to speak with the store manager to see if he would be able to do anything to ameliorate the situation. Apparently he was on his break and the employee who was assisting me told me to try the other Walgreens in the area. I explained to the employee that this was the second cancelation that I had and that Walgreens website only showed this location as the only one in the area that had openings for vaccines. The employee simply told me there wasn't anything they could do. I left furious having to spend another 40 dollars on Uber to get back to Portland. I decided to call the store to talk to the manager after returning home, the manager was rude didn't even let me finish my sentence before going into a dialog tree about how it wasn't his responsibility as the store manager to cancel pharmacy appointments. Really, you see people on the pharmacy schedule and don't bother to call them to cancel. Very unprofessional. I had to report the manager and the store to the corporate office. Only after this did the manager have the decency to call me back and leave an apologetic message, probably to cover his tracks. After this awful experience I cannot recommend this store or ny other Walgreens.

Josh in pharmacy is the best. He knows his stuff. He is kind, smart and cares. I always pray I get him at the register. Thank you Josh if reading, you have saved me sooo much anxiety stress. That is everything.

Awful pharmacist, they never could get my prescriptions right in 8 years, and pharmacist was so rude and looked like she just rolled out of bed. The one in Murray hill is just as bad. I will never go back to Walgreens again. Awful.

7/7/23 I called this morning and someone answered the phone and they are working on my prescription and they have it in stock. When my prescription is ready, I will get an automated text message to go pick it up. This is great. This is perfection.4/7/23 ITS GETTING BETTER! I don’t know if the management changed or if they just got better at staffing, but this pharmacy is finally answering the phone again. Phone calls to this pharmacy are important because their hours can be tricky. You used have to take time off from your regular day to visit this pharmacy typically. So it was really just frustrating. But it’s getting better. The last couple of times I’ve called to see if my medication is in stock, they’ve answered the phone, they’ve been friendly they’ve answered my question and that’s it. That’s all I ask for. So I am happy that they have also had my medication in stock lately. And dont believe everything you read on other reviews. A pharmacist DOES in fact have to be present (on site) in order for the pharmacy to dispense drugs, per Oregon State licensing law. So if a technician tells you that they cannot dispense medication because the pharmacist is not there, believe them; they are, in fact, acting in compliance with Oregon state, licensing law.

The pharmacy at this store has no concept of what it means to provide good customer service!I’ve had a few prescriptions filled there and each time I’ve waited hours to get my prescription. The staff at the pharmacy continuously under serves the community. I think they are deliberately trying to discourage patrons from filling their prescriptions at the store. Skip this pharmacy!

Today, just now, was the final straw. I waited in the drive-through for 25 minutes and when my turn came up they closed for lunch "pharmacist not on duty." That is absolute BS! There is no excuse and your understaffing issues are not my problem. Get it figured out or you're going to lose way more customers. There's gotta be a better way to get prescriptions.

After dealing with Riteaid down the road, I was about to lose my ever loving mind. They were terrible (never answered the phone, long wait times, wonky app etc) but this Walgreens has restored my sanity!I have never had any issues picking up prescriptions and I'm sorry, but if someone is telling you that they 'can't pick up a prescription unless the pharmacist is there', that's a lie. I've picked up multiple prescriptions (all of which are classified as controlled substances) without the pharmacist being present. I've also picked up at various times including opening, midday, closing and Saturdays. It's kind of annoying that they're closed on Sundays but it's nice that their pharmacy staff gets a guaranteed weekend day off. At least they take their lunch at the same time everyday. Too bad I always seem to forget ?

Meh. The pharmacy folks have lunch from 1:30-2:00, but were late coming back from it. Cranky personnel. The drive-thru is good though. As to the rest of the store - considering lack of staffing, they're doing a good job. Impressive. Overall, not bad.
