We had a great experience while making the reservation and checking out the cargo van, but a not so good experience dropping it off. The couple we dealt with on the phone and at the time of pick up were nice, especially the woman I made the reservation with on the phone. When we dropped off the cargo van we parked the van in a cargo bay like we were told. My husband parked in the only spot left that said Uhaul on it. We brought our broom and swept dirt from the back of the van and locked the doors and started walking away. Then a man who had a trailer walked up and asked my husband if we could move the van to another space 2 spots down, so he could park there. It didn't have a uhaul sign and my husband thought he was following the rules by parking only in the uhaul spot so he said he is just doing what he was supposed to. The other man took it as my husband being rude.
We had just moved things up 3 flights of stairs all day and we were tired and needed to use the restroom. (The place was closed and the gas station just in front had no public restrooms.) My husband put the key in the box and a man came out and got the key from the box. He told us why couldn't we help out, and that he saw us put the key in the box. Then I realized it was the owner from the day before who had been so friendly checking us out, and he was so upset. When I tried to explain, the owner said it's his day off and he's not talking to us. I would like to say that 1) We had just been driving back and forth moving, walking up and down stairs all day. 2) My husband really did think he was following rules by parking where he did. Hope you have a better experience with them- from beginning to end, and not have an owner of a business blow off his top at you.

All employees are great most of the customers are great but you do have to be careful, some have a screw loose and will try to fight you over literally nothing. If they were all level headed this would be a 5 star place but you've got a few who ruin it

I was so lucky that I found the Walker Storage/U Haul at 18365 NW Walker Road. I had the worst day, trying to find boxes for gifts that I had to send out. Lori greeted me, and went above and beyond in helping me not only find the correct size, but taped them for me and treated me like I was a friend instead of a stranger. If I ever have the need for storage or U haul, I would never go anywhere else. So grateful!

At first, my experience with this U-HAUL location was wonderful! I was able to get a truck to use for my own purposes and drop it off nice and easy. However, after just questioning some charges that I had thought were double charged via a message and wanted to have a call for clarification, I was followed up with a long message that was quite frankly rude and not customer service friendly.I wasn't expecting to be told a long and yet unnecessary explanation on how banks work and that a specific UHAUL location is to blame. It was a tone that caught me off guard that seemed accusatory, as if I was blaming this particular location of UHAUL. Additionally, the caller had started the message with a very "rushed" tone, as if I really needed to have a call back immediately, when that definitely was not the case at all. After, the message was left, I called back and the individual was telling me to go listen to the "long message" they left, as if it was such a hassle to answer a question and concern I had. Overall, that call has ensured that I will not be returning to this UHAUL location for any rentals and I will be sure to communicate that to my friends and family about this location.

Easy to use facility, good parking and elevator access, flat bed carts and wide clean aisles.
