Where do I start?! This review is long overdue- I am naturally a dark brunette and had been getting my hair done by the same gal for the last 10 years who brought me to blonde- or so I thought.. I was happy until I met Zara.
Let me tell you- Zara is the exception of hair professional. She not only looked at the heath of my hair, but delivered exactly what I had been wanting for nearly a decade!
I was stuck in the routine of my same hair gal (also bff for over 15years!) and never got the results that I finally found with Zara.
Let me explain- being a natural brunette and wanting striking blonde with highlights, on the silver/ ashy side, is a feat to request. Especially from root-to tip-. I was prepared to accept an interim, but that is not what I got.
Zara delivered! Straight gorgeous silver blonde with dimension, root to tip- just as requested! See photo- and this is after nearly two years of her care!
She delivered what I wanted, how I wanted, and kept my hair safe! I actually have more hair growth now than I’ve had in over 10 years. She listens, she advises and will speak honestly. I am so grateful I found her- she also took care of me during an emotional period I. My life. I did the worst mistake and cut myself “bangs”. Without judgement, Zara extended herself, time and expertise into helping me regain confidence. I didn’t even ask! She helped me through a period in my life where I really needed it, my heart never forgets this.
She IS THE BEST. And deserves the best clients. When you also become a fan of hers- remember to pre book 2 in advance because she books up! I wish I met her sooner, and I personally pre book 3 appointments in advance.

The color never feels overdone or harsh, just effortlessly radiant. It’s the kind of work that gets compliments weeks after the appointment!

Zara knows what she is doing!
She took my hair which was damaged and turned it into what I’ve been wanting! We took it from dark dark brown to light brown and it’s healthier than ever! She’s so positive and kind and makes getting your hair done a nice experience.

She’s fabulous!! She took me from dark brown to my natural white which was scarey but I’m delighted! Her cuts have a more upscale look. She’s direct when I ask her opinion (I love that) and she’s been right every time. I get tons of compliments since I started with her a year ago. She’s outstanding.

When my hairdresser of 20+ years retired, I went into panic mode. I was lucky enough to find Zara based off her incredible Yelp reviews. Zara has been coloring my hair for about 6 months and I've been very happy with the results. I have dark brown hair with lots of gray roots and she manages to cover them and add some highlights that don't look overly processed which has been hard for me to attain with other stylists.

Highly recommend for anyone who just hasn’t been able to find a stylist that gets what you want! Zara is so smart and so talented. She gets what you’re saying and she explains everything so you know what you’re getting. She’s not afraid to tell you if she foresees a problem and she helps you find the best solution for your own hair.

I love Zara. She continues to give great, current haircuts. While she says she's not a colorist, I love what she's doing in transitioning me to grey. I recommend her--just don't take my time slot!!!

Zara is amazing!. This is literally the most beautiful hair cut my daughter has ever had!
My daughter had tears in her eyes out of happiness! Zara took the time to explain to my duaghter what she needed to do to maintain healthy hair. Zara is really talented and has definitely earned our business. Thank you for making our daughter feel the way she looks.

I'd like to thank Zara for the amazing haircut I received. She was professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the experience. I love my new haircut and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great stylist. Her location was also very convenient for me, which was a plus.

I found Zara on moving to Portland and was so impressed with her attention to detail and how beautiful my hair color came out each time I visited. Unfortunately, I was unable to work with Zara for a period of time due to my financial situation, but came back as soon as I could due to the fact that my hair was desperately crying for help. We worked together to bring my hair back to health and I love the color blending with my natural grey. I highly recommend Zara. You will love your hair!Services: Haircut
