Very poor customer service. The manager on duty today was very rude and unwilling to make a simple situation right. I don’t normally write poor reviews but this was the 2nd time in this store with unhelpful staff.
Both the other Aces in town have friendly and helpful staff so I won’t be shopping at this store again.

They were weirdly smug about not sticking timberlok lag screws and then would not help me find the driver socket for the lag screws I picked out. They actually laughed when I asked if they had any self tapping lag screws? Like they exist... Your a hardware store don't act like you never heard of timberlok products.

They seem to have special things that other stores don't. The plumbing and electrical sections are fairly well stocked, that's why you see professional service companies shopping here. They don't have a lot of flowers, but the ones they do have are nice. Thumbs up for the friendly staff. Thanks everyone at Ace. 👍

For a seemingly small store, they always seem to have what I need for my little repairs and small projects around the house. And, if you live in west Bend, they are very convenient!

I was in for paint and brought the lid from a 2018 can of paint, that I wanted to match and which was made at Ace. The lid had the color name and number with the color dab. The associate took the lid to mix the paint and brought up the color in her computer. When we used the paint it seemed more pink than the red from the old can but we hoped it would darken to the red as it dried. Nope. Not sure why it is so far off but I'd definitely go elsewhere if you are trying to match paint!

I was not happy with my paint experience here. My wife and I felt the associate assisting us with paint treated us like a nuisance. Even though we were spending over $300 on a few gallons of paint. Picking out paint colors is already stressful enough. We’ll be heading to the store on the east side from now on.
