On 9/23/25, I checked the closed time (1:30pm) before I arrived at 1:17pm. There were two staff people working the counter, a woman with long brown hair and a man. They each had a customer at their window. There was a man in front of me in line and one behind. I went to the window of the woman and immediately told her my birthdate. She didn't understand me and I repeated my birthdate, then my name. I was only there to pickup a prescription that I've had before and didn't need a consult. She then told me they close at 1:20pm. I told her the sign said 1:30pm. She then stated that regular customers know this. Again, I stated the sign said 1:30pm. If the pharmacy staff wants to go to lunch at 1:20pm, the sign should reflect this. She was very unhappy to be put out of her extra 10 minutes of lunchtime. Very poor customer service.

Have been coming here for 5 months for my prescriptions waiting on the center to get me in for surgery. Went in yesterday, 4/24/25 and the pharmacist manager I spoke with “Maria” said “this will be the last time we dispense these medications for you”. She said “ if you have a problem you can have your dr call me” um, no you’re supposed to reach out to a provider for additional information/ legitimacy if you have any concerns but you didn’t do that, just told me to go elsewhere from now on which I won’t. The first pharmacist manager before you ( because you were new when I started getting meds filled with this Safeway) she asked me why I needed the meds, then called my dr to confirm and I didn’t have any issues after that until now. She was EXCELLENT. You, however, are not. My dr will call ahead next month informing Safeway pharmacy of my arrival and if you refuse my medications you’re not going to like the outcome you receive from Safeway/ the state. I also have evidence of her being rude. I have 2 attorneys retained for legality purposes regarding the injury and why I need the surgery and medications. Not a good idea to deny me because I won’t stop and I will escalate this to the furthest extent possible just to make my point that you can’t go on a power trip and deny people what they need to be comfortable. All of the employees here are super nice and helpful even if there’s an issue with a prescription they try to help to resolve it. Super reliable and easy to call and get a prescription filled.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I got prescribed some medicines on 12/31, called in the morning to confirm their opening times, was told Pharmacy would close at 7pm, checked online said 7pm, door sign said 7pm. I show up at 5:45pm and guess what! The pharmacy was closed, they had closed early. Worst part they wouldn't be open on New Year's day. Terrible customer service, unapologetic staff. Rae the Supermarket Manager tried her best to help and find a solution that wasn't her fault. Thankfully I was able to switch my prescription over to Walmart and got it next day. I would worry if you really need a medicine and have it sent here. Don't risk it.

This is a great pharmacy. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. I did notice a bad review from 8 years ago, however they have all new people since then. That red haired guy is no longer there. The staff is awesome now.

Due to an error (unknown) a discount card for an expensive medication would not process for us. I believe the pharmacy tech named Deborah made repeated attempts to solve the problem but to no avail. She called on Christine D to help-they both worked on it for several minutes. Christine finally discarded the coupon we had received and went online and eventually got us an entirely new coupon. They spent an easy 30 minutes trying to fix the problem even though I told them that I’d just pay the regular price so they didn’t have to keep trying to help me. Sure enough, Christine’s efforts paid off, a new coupon was generated and we saved over $100 as a direct result of their incredible customer service and support. Talking about going above and beyond! They did, they did it in a very friendly way and they couldn’t have been more gracious while working on our behalf. Well done!
