From making the booking to check in and check out the entire process was easy. We loved the location and proximity to the river and Old Mill District. The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back and book this unit with Alpenglow.

Cute, cozy, convenient! This little spot was just right for us. It is close to downtown and the river. Jackson's Corner restaurant is right across the street. We had a wonderful stay at this spot. I would recommend it!

It was so easy to rent through Alpenglow and the condo that they represent at Mount Bachelor Village was wonderful! They were super responsive and when we needed more kitchen towels they brought us new ones plus a bottle of wine! Nice to work with, we will rent there again (and save booking fees--yay!)

We had a great stay and experience with Alpenglow. Super easy booking and communication. The home we rented in Mt. Bachelor Village was conveniently located and spacious. We will definitely look to book with them for our next stay in Central Oregon.

Lovely home close to outdoor activities.
Comfortably fit extended family and friends. Beautiful surroundings. Child friendly. Host company very responsive. Technology a little outdated and TVs difficult to use (no instructions provided).
We would return in the future.

We had a wonderful time staying by the river in Bend. The house was perfect for the two of us and our dog.
The house - Super clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and nice, sunny living room/dining room space.
The Yard -great fenced backyard with covered table (so nice to have shade in the hot summer sun), BBQ and space for dogs to run. The yard is covered with woodchips so no mud or dirt for the dogs to get into.
Location - 1 block from the river and Drake Park. Walk to downtown. Amazing restaurants easily withing walking distance.
We will definitely be back.

This is our second time renting a house through Alpenglow. They are very communicative and detail oriented. The cleaniness of the property and amenities are top notch. Will definitely rent from them again.

Perfect home for a family getaway. Enough space to not feel cramped but set up for family engagement. I loved that there were no TV's in the rooms so by default everyone hung out n the family room together. Alpenglow was great to work with- fantastic communication, the home was clean and ready for us and they even left us a thank you note and bottle of wine!

The manager Victoria is such a rude lady and never will take blame. She should be fired for her rudeness and lack of taking accountability!! Never using or recommending this company ever again.

We had a fabulous time in Bend, Oregon because the staff at Alpenglow Vacation Rentals worked with us to assure that we had selected the perfect place to stay. Everyone was patient, friendly, professional, and so very helpful. We stayed at the Lil' Oar House in July 2023 and it was perfectly located exactly where we needed to be. Close to the river, shopping, breweries, restaurants, hiking, river surfing (have you ever done that before?). It's an amazing sight to see. Most importantly the home is extremely comfortable to hang out in and relax.I'm the mom and I travelled with our three young adult daughters -- they coined themselves the three Lil' Oars after the house. It was serendipity that brought us to the house and meant to be for sure. We are telling our friends and family members to always work through Alpenglow Vacation Rentals if they are traveling to Bend or any other area that the company serves -- they really take care of you. Thank you so much. xox

Buyer Beware - this company is very familiar with the "excessive cleaning" additional cost scam you read about in the news. We were charged an additional $600 with no receipt of explanation, except a number of pictures of a dirty toilet and windows. We followed the check out instructions exactly as described, and at no point did it say "also please clean the toilets." Is this not one of the normal cleaning activities performed after a week long stay? The other items included damages to the location that were already in place prior to our stay - we attempted to point this out, but received no acknowledgment of our email response. They charge an "Accidental damage protection fee" but it is a total lie - when reviewing their website, we noticed that the fee excludes basically any cleaning or damage. Unbelievably deceitful. Please be warned - use another rental company or add an additional $600 in fees to whatever you are prepared to pay.
Edited to add: The specifics mentioned in the response below are exactly the things that we attempted to point out were already present upon check in. We did crate our dog or bring him with us when we left the house, the "white liquid on the windows" was from the hot tub and resulted from our 2 year old attempting to "splash" us (definitely not 9 feet tall, nor something we thought needed extra cleaning), and the urine on the carpet was from a previous dog. Our 2 year old wears pull-ups to bed, and we did not notice the "feces on the bedding" although we did make sure to wash the sheets beforehand - for that I do apologize. However, I always make a point to book places and pay for the accidental damage and cleaning waiver beforehand - as travelling with a small child and a dog does increase the risk for damage. The fact that this place charges one (including a daily pet fee - which also apparently covers nothing) but excludes any damage above and beyond what I would hope they are cleaning for in the first place (bedding, toilet, etc.). This was the point of my review, and something I would like to make future renters aware of. Maybe only book to adults and excludes pets - hopefully those adults don't throw parties if you can't handle the mess of a 2 year old. We actually do take the check out instructions seriously, and very methodically ticked our way down the list - I would also add that you could make a more thorough list if you expect additional cleaning - or even change the name of the "waiver" to additional cleaning fee. If that is what an "appalling" house looks like, I am shocked and surprised.
