We picked up the Spindrift No Pull Harness, made by this store in Bend. They are amazing and well thought out. We’ve had trouble fitting harnesses because of the deep chest on Poodle, but standard martingales would choke my youngest who is still a puller. The design of the spindrift harnesses gives so many points of adjustment they fit both of my poodles who have significantly different builds. And they work fabulously for communicating leash pressure without causing discomfort like others we’ve tried. Very happy with them so far, although the silky material does seem prone to a little snagging. I’ll have to keep an eye out how fast they wear down. Either way, we’ll probably just get another one because I’m they impressed!

Can't recommend
Moved to bend back from Redmond and was recommended bend pet express from my previous favorite spot.
Sadly when I came in I was greeted and asked what I came in for (which is a plus) but after the associate showed me where the wet dog food was they walked off without saying anything to my dog ?
Okay well the prices werent very great, I know it's a specialty store and whatnot so there's a premium, but no deals or specials or even "buy 7 get one free on chews' was really hard to not notice coming from my last place.
So if the prices and specials aren't good is the customer service very good?
No. My dog was ignored which was really tough for me because even the chain stores will say hi to him and sometimes offer treats . Worst of all when I went up to the register the woman kurtly asked "last name?" To which I said this is my first time here I don't have an account. Instead of offering to make one or welcoming me to the store she just skipped the whole process and rung me out and sent me on my way.
I think I would rather drive back to Redmond where I feel like they care about the client pets and I feel good about supporting their business

Just had my first visit to Bend Pet Express. I was greeted warmly by Elena. She patiently listened to what I was looking for in a new food for my cats. I was VERY specific in my wants and needs for a new cat food.
I am replacing the food that my cats have been on for three years but is being discontinued.
Not only did she have several excellent suggestions, she also let me know that a formerly reputable company was acquired by a disreputable company and to avoid them! Her knowledge and warmth was superior to my experience at many stores in Bend. She is definitely an asset to this store!

I just saw my veterinarian today for an ear/skin infection for my new Humane Society rescue pup. Apparently my dog may have food allergies. I walked in the door and was greeted by Kit who was extremely helpful. She is knowledgeable about all the different foods they carry in the store and she helped me navigate how to deal with my dog’s potential allergies. She was empathetic and really great with my dog. All of my interactions at Bend Pet Express (both Eastside and Westside) have been fantastic. Keep up the good work. Your employees rock.

I am not sure that the dog wash is managed by Bend Pet Express. This review is about the dog wash. Last time I went in they were at lunch from 12-1 but that was not listed on the website. No big deal. This time I arrived at 11:37 for a quick self wash no dry. It was empty. The employee informed me that she needed to go to lunch at 12:00. I told her that I would be sure to be done by then. She said OK. As she finished wiping down the tub she again asked if I was sure that I could be done by noon. I told her that I would go across the street so that she would not worry. I would encourage them to post dog wash hours that are closed from 11:30 until 1 pm for lunch.

What is up with the selection of dog food always being gone. I like the shopping center so I go here. I won't soon so I'm not wasting my time. I'll call before.
