This was such an amazing place to go and explore! We paddle board on a crystal clear, cold lake with trout swimming below and the south sister (Mt) in front.

What I liked:
• The kitchen was well-equipped and clean.
• Beautiful view from the unit.
• Two bathrooms made it convenient for our group.
• Great location – an easy walk to the river for a refreshing swim.
• Front desk staff were prompt and helpful.
What I didn’t like:
• The air conditioning system was frustrating. The living room stayed too warm while the bedroom was overly cold.
• On our first night, the initial unit we were given was stuck at 82°F and not cooling. Thankfully, we were moved to another unit that worked better at first. However, the next day we returned in the afternoon (around 3:30pm) and found it uncomfortably warm again. Even by 8:30pm, it was still at 77°F, which made for a very uncomfortable night. The AC was later serviced, but the unit still didn’t cool properly. These older units likely need upgrading.
• Noise from the unit above was also an issue. I could hear heavy footsteps starting at 4:45am, which made it difficult to sleep. If you’re a light sleeper, be sure to bring earplugs.
Overall:
We stayed for 3 nights. While I did enjoy many aspects of the stay, including the location and amenities, the outdated air conditioning and poor sound insulation affected our comfort. I would consider returning, but next time I’ll try to book a remodeled unit with a newer AC system.

I love this little Gem of a place.
Right on the river.
Affordable.
So much room.
And dog friendly.
Easy no contacts check in. Very clean and well kept.
Quiet. Yet the Roar of the river is loud and beautiful.
I stay here whenever I can.

If you are looking for a nice short term rental that is within easy walking distance of downtown Bend, this is the place.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is laid back and relaxing and rustic, and the location is great.

Wow!! This place is truly a hidden gem in bend. Super clean, amazing view of the river, close to trails along the river, plenty of space for our family. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Our mini aussie was right at home, the kitchen was fully loaded with dishes, utensils and accessories, we brought our own coffee and bathroom supplies. Everything was perfect!! Thank you again 💓

We really enjoyed our stay at Bend Riverside Rentals. The apartment was very spacious, featuring two bathrooms and a separate bedroom – perfect for a small family or group. From our third-floor balcony, we had a lovely view of the river, which made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It’s also conveniently located: you can easily walk downtown and find a variety of great restaurants. Parking was available right in front of the building.
There is no elevator, but that was clearly stated in the description, so no surprise there. The apartment is well-equipped – the kitchen had everything we needed, including pots, pans, dishes, and even some coffee to get us started. We were also pleasantly surprised to find board games in the closet!
Of course, there are a few downsides. The unit shows signs of wear and tear, especially in the bathrooms, and some corners (including the balcony) could definitely use a deeper clean. Also, the heating and AC units are quite loud, both inside and out.
That said, these issues didn’t take away from the overall positive experience. If you’re someone who expects perfection and spotless luxury, this might not be the place for you – but then again, you’d be looking at triple the price elsewhere. For us, the value for money was absolutely spot-on, and we would stay here again.

The location of this place and the scenery is fantastic. You are very close to downtown and right on the river. The pool and hot tub are also decent. The rooms you rent are quite large and affordable. Unfortunately everything else leaves a lot to be desired. The mattress was probably the worst mattress I've ever slept on. Every time one of us would toss and turn the mattress springs would squeak loudly and was very uncomfortable. The curtains in the bedroom attempt to block out the lights that are directly outside the window that you cannot turn off. The curtains block most of it out but not enough. The last people staying at the room used bandaids to try and close the curtains, and the bandaids were still stuck on there. Cleanliness was mediocre, definitely had a strange smell to the place. Walls and ceilings were very thin. The people above us would wake up at 530am and apparently would just walk in circles for hours. Between that and the bed it was a nightmare. Lots of other little things, the shower head was chest high so you have to duck to wash your hair. Light bulbs missing and other weird things. Overall we wouldn't be back due to how uncomfortable it was.

Decent place to stay in Bend if you’re looking for something reasonably priced and close to downtown.

I ended up having to cancel my booking because of childcare issues, but working with Destiny regarding my cancelation was a delight :). I had booked through a third party site that wasn’t communicating well with me. So I looped in Destiny at Bend Riverside Rentals, and she helped me facilitate my refund. In the future, I will book directly through Bend Riverside Rentals, and avoid the headache. Thanks Destiny!

I loved the condo (259) that we stayed in last week. The condo was well stocked and comfortable. It was right on the riverfront. The Riverwalk was a great place to go when our dogs needed walked. My only complaints were the cleanliness of the dishes and some hair. The pool was a wonderful addition, but there is no ventilation so it was very foggy, especially at night. On top of that, a lot of the pool house had mold. It wasn’t a deal breaker though. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again when we go back to Bend.

We rented for 3 1/2 weeks in early December 2023 and absolutely loved our stay. We stayed in 248/249 (one bdrm unit, also called 'Bend There, Done That'. The apartment has been recently updated and overlooks the Deschutes River and trail walk, which made daily walks into downtown or upriver, a real treat. The unit was well stocked. We slept in the bed in the front room because of the view, and it was so comfortable, I think someone put a memory foamy under the sheets! The pool was a nice plus, unfortunately the hot tub was out of commission. We'll be back!On reading other reviews, it seems that you should carefully look over the pictures of the units before you book them, it's not like a hotel where they're all furnished / stocked the same.We will be back!

I have personally worked for this company, and from my own experience as well as witnessing others. This is an awful place to stay, let alone work for. They DO NOT respect nor appreciate their employees! They do not treat us with the respect we deserve, nor do they care about their employees. If any employee has a child/children they do not try to work around your childcare. This is one of the worst companies and rental place in central Oregon. I also want to add, that even under new management, this is still an awful place! You are better off staying at a best western or any other rental place within central Oregon.
