A must-visit! Exactly what Bend needs: a veer from the typical! The owner is lovely and the market is full of fun pantry items and snacks from Eastern Europe, Mexico, Asia, and beyond.

Stopped in today to see what kind of variety they had. Found a good stocking stuffer for Christmas and my favorite shrimp chips of course! I do agree that the U.S. variety throws off the vibe as well as the convenience store set up but all in all, a great place that I know will prosper and grow. So excited to see what else comes in over some time!

Stopped in today for the first time. Was excited to get some kaffir lime leaves which I have never seen around bend... They also have fermented shrimp paste for those who enjoy making their own kimchi ?. The fellow working was very friendly and said as they grow they want to bring in product that people want so let them know so they can order it. That will come in handy when I finally run out of my Costco sized package of fennigreek leaves I ordered off Amazon.

Bendite Market stands for the Bend International Market. If you're looking for items such as Turkish Coffee, specialty cookies, yummy breads, this is your go-to place! Very clean store with wide aisles. The owner will help you find whatever you're looking for.

The owner is super friendly and the prices are good. It's not really the place for Asian spices/ingredients, but for snack foods you can't get anywhere else it's the best in Bend! Lots of Middle Eastern foods and things I've never seen before. It was a great experience!

An interesting assortment of food and beverage products. I would say this feels more like a mini-mart/gas station convenience store, as opposed to an actual international market, as there are a large amount of US snack and drink products on the shelves. Hopefully they’ll expand their selections in the near future to represent a greater variety of countries. Not all the products have prices listed yet, but it looks like they are starting to.

Awesome owner. Super friendly. He’s all about the community as well. I buy my dates here so I can do bacon wrapped dates with balsamic reduction.

My excitement about an international market coming to Bend comes from my love of cooking asian food, mostly Thai and Chinese. Doing it right means getting the right ingredients, many of which are not regularly available in our local grocery stores. Unfortunately, this place does nothing to make that better. Half of the stuff in there isn't international, just random stuff you'd find in any convenience store. Of the stuff that IS international, 90% is snacks and pre-prepared items. There is little to nothing in the way of actual ingredients you would need to make your favorite asian dishes. Additionally, it's really disorganized. I saw the the same items in completely different aisles all over the store, so looking for anything is kind of confusing. Lastly, as others have mentioned, I don't think anyone is a fan of not having items priced on the shelves. If you're into asian cooking, pretty much any grocery store in Bend has a far better selection of the items you need. And for the stuff you can't find, online is still the only way. Or go to the valley/PDX. But hey, if you just want a six pack and a bag of some obscure foreign version of salty junk food, then this is the place.
