“I used to think the other bike shops in Bend Oregon were better. Not anymore. Hands down a million times over, Project Bike is the ONLY bike shop to go to. And I'll tell you why... John Frey and his excellent team of professional bike racers, designers, and mechanics are THE BEST by far. The owner John Frey, is outstanding, with more depth and breadth knowledge, skills, and experience of any bike expert I've ever known, and I have been in the bike world for 30 years, riding and going to lots of bike shops in the Canadian, Lake Tahoe, and Marin County bike meccas. When Cody Peterson, who is Project Bike's master fitter, called me to come in for a fitting, I thought I'd be there for maybe an hour. He said plan on an hour and a half. TWO hours later, after I had been hooked up as if I was going into surgery, and shown every measurement possible - literally from head to toe, my ankle to knee, knee to hip, hip to head, etc - he PERFECTLY measured and designed a bike that was truly made JUST FOR ME. Cody is also a world champion bike racer. Believe me, he definitely knows he stuff. Then it was bike building time with the owner, John Frey, my new forever idol. Talk about an AMAZING guy! Since he was a kid, he's been riding and working on bikes, and has truly dedicated his life to make sure that if you walk through his doors, you're going to leave with a bike that was meant for YOU and your particular needs and wants. When he was building my bike, it was like he was a mad scientist. He won't stop until you have exactly what you need and want, and that is the ideal fit and ike for you and you alone. And then their team of experienced bike mechanics will keep your bike running at its best. So in a nutshell, it's really quite an EPIC EXPERIENCE to meet the experts at Project Bike and be catered to and taken care of like you're the only thing that matters. Get into Project Bike ASAP, and tell John that Elin Marie sent you!”

Shannon has recently worked on both my mountain and road bikes. The five yr old mountain bike felt new after the tune up. My road bike is a 31 yr old steel frame model with a Campy drive train. Shannon and the other techs have kept this bike in great shape and in excellent working order. Great shop!”

They helped me select a bike, get it fitted properly, and get it set up to suit my needs. Staff is super knowledgeable and very friendly. James (the owner) provided excellent cost and feature comparisons by email (which gave me all the data I needed plus time to think about the purchase). Josh (bike tech) helped me dial in all the particulars and get the bike set up and ready to go. Gary (bike tech and owner of shop dog Anne) provided insight and encouragement. I really can't say enough about the quality of the bike and the superb customer service. 10 out of 10/ no notes. :-)”
