DO NOT STAY HERE
The manager and employees are very rude! There is mold! And bed bugs! Me and my family got very sick after staying here for only 3 days! And also they don’t do their jobs like house keeping! Or normal service! The room is disgusting my room had this bad odor! Very shady people around here! And they don’t care for the people around them! I would never stay here! Ever! Ever! Again!

The electrical outlet in the bathroom didn't work and one in the main room didn't work...the hot and cold water in the bathroom sink were opposite and the carpet in the room was disgustingly dirty....it made our feet black and this was after the man at the desk insulted my daughter and told her she had a fat face....needless to say... we'll never stay there again!

Out of all the places we stayed during our U.S. road trip, this was the most disappointing – and unfortunately, not the cheapest either.
The room was musty, outdated, and felt neglected. It seemed like they tried to mask the musty odor with heavy air freshener, which only created a stale, perfumed smell. The carpet in front of the bathroom was damp, which made the whole space feel uncomfortable and unclean. We also found a hair in the bed – not exactly reassuring in terms of hygiene. The faucet dripped constantly, making it hard to relax, especially at night.
We had booked a single-bed room but were given a twin room instead – with the odd instruction not to use the second bed. That just felt unnecessarily strict and unhelpful.
The receptionist wasn’t outright rude, but certainly not friendly or welcoming either. To make things worse, there were no visible instructions or codes for the Wi-Fi in the room.
On the positive side: the rest of the staff we interacted with were kind, there was coffee available in the room, and complimentary shampoo and conditioner were provided – which we appreciated.

Booked a room online while 30 minutes away. When we arrived we were told that they gave out room to someone else because our payment hadn't cleared yet and they canceled our reservation but not to worry because we wouldn't be charged..... I want to be charged, I needed the room!
Terrible service at the front desk!

BED BUGS
Stay at your own risk.
Also, toilet didn't flush, comforter had some weird stains, sink leaked directly under it.
Learned some lessons staying here.

The location and price are right for a quick grungy ski trip, but the front desk agent is one of the most unpleasant people I have ever encountered.
Initially booked a one-bed room but changed it to a two-bed room with a different name on the reservation so my friends could check in before I arrived. I called the owner, Eshan Chopra — who I see has left a five-star review for his motel — to confirm the changes and he said they were all reflected in the reservation notes and my friends should have no problem checking in with the desk agent upon their arrival.
Boy was that wrong. At first, the desk agent refused to let them check in. Then he said they could check in, but they could only use one of the two beds in the room (???). My friends called me to speak directly with the desk agent; I told him to check the reservation notes and said I’d spoken to the owner that same day to confirm the changes. The desk agent didn’t believe me until I read back the owner’s phone number to him. Then he got very nice.
It’s not like I had high expectations for this place when I booked it but somehow the desk agent made the experience Kafkaesque.
Also, the listing says the room has two queen beds. This is inaccurate, at least for the room we stayed in, which had one queen bed and one full.

Stayed here with my friend in Room 2 the weekend of 1/3-1/5. Woke up with a bedbug crawling across the pillow. We caught it in a bag and presented it to the front desk agent.
The desk agent moved us to another room. In this room, the sink and toilet did not drain, so we could not use the restroom.
We asked for a refund on checkout. The desk agent refused. He said the motel does not have bedbugs. I also took a photo of the bug we found in the bed. Pretty clearly a bedbug; judge for yourself. Desk agent said, “Oh, well, when it rains, the bugs just come inside.” Sir, no.
The desk agent said that if we wanted a refund, we should email the owner. Our email to the address on the website bounced. We returned to the motel to ask for correct contact information. The agent then said the motel doesn’t have an email address. We asked the agent to call the owner. The agent refused, but did finally give us an accurate email address.
When we emailed the owner, he initially said he would look into the bedbug issue and our request for a refund, but hasn’t responded in six days.
As we left the motel, we saw another party checking into the room we’d reported as having bedbugs.

Great work being done, property is very much turning around from its old self. New owners very friendly and staff members just as friendly.

Owner and employees were very nosey. As we were not allowed to have any visitors. The man became furious when we complained about the water that seeped from the bathroom/shower on to the carpet in the bedroom area, and he actually kicked us out and called the cops on is when I complained about the black mold on the baseboards. Definitely would not recommend staying here.

This is a family business school integrity and compassionate caring for the appearance of their properties and the people in the community they went out of their way to help me when I just asked a few simple questions one morning when I saw them out cleaning the sidewalk which is not even their job to do.

Passing though the area to hike south sister and needed a cheap place to crash for the night. Nothing fancy, but the place was clean, bed was decent, and you’ll have a hard time finding a lower price. Would return.

We came out of the mountains on a road trip, the nice people of Chalet Motel, let us check in a bit earlier so we could warm up, I am forever grateful 🙏... the room is spacious and clean, that combined with the hospitality 10/10 definitely stay!

Bad experience last night. Got to the counter and had trouble accepting the credit card. Went ahead and made a booking through a third party. With the booking payed and confirmed, the manager wouldn't accomodate us because THEY had trouble with the third party. Apparently they were trying to take the payment and making me pay again directly with them

I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Chalet Motel in Bend, Oregon! The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and spotlessly clean rooms exceeded my expectations. This motel truly has everything you need for an affordable and comfortable stay. The location was perfect, providing easy access to local attractions. The affordability combined with the well-maintained facilities make it a top choice for a delightful and relaxing experience. Highly recommend!!!
