Karma was amazing to work with on my gun purchase. She was so knowledgeable and helpful! She took time to explain everything to me and what would be the best fit for my needs and really made me feel comfortable with the whole process! I highly recommend Double Tap and especially Karma for all your gun needs they really do take care of their customers and provide amazing service!

This place is a family run business. I've had negative experiences with local gun shops in the past. Everyone inside was very nice, personable, and knowledgeable. I only bought a stock that was generously marked down in price because it was lightly used. The bearded gentleman put it on one of their rifles so I could test it out before buying it and was able to tell me everything about it. The young lady behind the counter was very pleasant and knowledgeable about handguns. If you're a first time gun buyer and are female, she would be great to talk to about the different options. I have not had any transfers with them or used this business for any gunsmithing, I would probably guess that they're good on that end too. One critique is their inventory. They still have cool stuff and lots of extra gear. But everyone is hurting with inventory these days so you can't knock them for that.

This review is long over due. Will and Karma offer exceptional service, knowledge and products. I have purchased many of products from Double Tap over the years. Something that really made an impact on my opinion of Double Tap; in 2020 when other gun stores in town were price gouging Double Tap did not. They are a fair and honest company, and they treat their customers right!

Drove from gilchrist to bend just to go here. The people there are very knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend this place to anybody wanting anything having to do with firearms. I will be going back for sure!!

The whole family here is amazing! They’re exactly the type of business that I believe in supporting. Proud Patriots, family oriented, friendly and knowledgeable. They’re open to answer or research any questions that you might have. And I feel they get just as excited for you, as you are, when you get a new tool for your toolbox. I just purchased my third firearm from Double Tap and I couldn’t be happier. Now I just need to name her ?? Thank you and Good Bless America! ??

This isn’t only the best gun shop in central Oregon, it’s possibly the best in the entire state! I’ve purchased 3 guns from here now, plus had a scope sighted in and mounted along with sight/trigger installations and Will and Carma make it as easy as can be! You can rest assured you’re in good hands with these 2! Their prices are very fair, they take care of returning customers, and Will can answer pretty much any gun related question you have! With gun laws getting stricter, and these people’s livelihood being made more complicated from it, this is 1000% a business worth supporting.

Very nice and welcoming mom and pop type shop, they know what they’re doing and are very informal in what they do. Always very helpful and always have the correct answers to your questions. Will definitely come back to do business with them again!

I've been here a couple times over the years I've been in Bend. They've handled two or three transfers for me, including one in-store purchase. My experience with this place has been pretty decent. If you're a quiet person like I am, don't expect anyone to go out of their way to engage with you. They seem to operate on "bar rules," where the people with the most eye contact (or the people who know the bartender) get served first. This isn't a knock, per se, just a heads-up for the more introverted gun enthusiasts out there... and hopefully a little bit of feedback to the owners, who seem active on this page. The shop's been hustling and bustling every time I've been in there, with a rotating group of people who all seem to know each other and deal with each other first. I'm sure it's great if you're a "regular," but for everyone else, it can be less-great. When you do eventually get the attention of the counter, service is great! It's a well-run establishment, but it's not for me -- and that's OK!
