Out of the budget hotels I've tried in Bend the Dunes has been the best. Clean, comfortable room, hot water and good water pressure, cleaning staff respects the "do not disturb" sign, check in until 11pm, fridge and nuker in room. Only downside is that it's right on 3rd street so light sleepers might get annoyed by traffic, but didn't bother me. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here 1 night and it was a pretty good experience overall. The rooms were clean and so were the sheets but they were not checked under UV. The floors however were disgusting and also the wall of the shower were definitely no the cleanest but its pretty easy to not touch them. The service was good and we were able to check in early. TLDR; good but could be better.

Five stars in the context of motels. Nice service, clean rooms, higher end rooms with remodel and good showers, and great price! Would definitely stay again.

Made a late night booking, the service was good, the room was clean, the motel is right on the main road, yet we didn't find it loud. Good value.

Clean room. Service was good. Needed extra coffee and came down and he let us have more. Some reviews about it being loud, I don’t think it was loud. It is on the intersection of a Main Street sure but so are all of the other smaller motels in bend. Lol just turn on the tv and you will be fine.

Not too far from downtown with a car. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but everything was nice in the room, updated and clean. Good luck finding another hotel room in Bend with 3 beds for this price. We enjoyed our stay and would book again if in the Bend area for sure, especially if on a budget. But it didn't feel "budget" inside. Everything was comfortable, and we didn't have any negatives to report.

We needed a cheap motel to stay in while traveling and the dunes worked well. Close to several breweries it was clean and comfortable.

Nice and cozy place. Staff was friendly got us check in quickly. Went up to my room was surprised with a cute western room. Had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. Their water heater works pretty great. We will definitely stay here again.

Pros: Within walking distance to downtown and stores. Affordable. Clean bathroom.Cons: Sheets had hair on them and some stains. Floors were dirty close to the walls and corners. Dry skin found under the mattress

They have everything you need: hot shower with good pressure, comfy bed, TV, coffee maker, mini fridge, desk, and even an iron. They waited for me to check in late and were very nice about it.

My husband and I stopped in, no reservation and were given the king suite at a lower price. The guy at the counter was super nice. The king suite is amazing! They put a lot of work into details that made you feel like you were at home. Very nicely decorated. The jacuzzi tub was awesome and the bed was to die for. We were there one night and it's been several days and I seriously miss that bed! So comfy!

This is honestly the best motel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are clean and a lot nicer than you would expect in a motel! They had nice soaps and decent coffee. We got a king room for only $99, and the guy behind the counter was totally fine when I requested a one-bed room for two men. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay!
