Adam, my guide, was very patient and knowledgeable. I needed a lot of instruction and he was more than willing to provided it. He also helped untangle my line and changed flies for me when the bite slowed. The day would have been much more frustrating without his guidance. Thanks for a most memorable day!

EXCELLENT fly fishing guide service. We did a full day trip on the Lower Deschutes in mid July. Glen was our guide. We were first time fly fisherman and he did an excellent job of putting us on fish(rainbow trout and white fish) and giving us tips on presentation, hook set, fighting the fish, and ultimately landing them.
These fish are finicky, but after following his tips we were able to set the hook and land them regularly.
If you can request Glen as your guide, I would highly recommend it!

I experienced 2 very successful trips to beautiful Paulina Lake so far this summer with guide George at Fly and Field Outfitters. No matter what the conditions are that day, George has proved to me that he can give you many opportunities to catch a lot of fish. I highly recommend George and the people at Fly and Field.

Adam S was great! Been doing this for decades and it shows. Great trip, equipment worked great and I didn't fall in the river for the first time in my life (which I am prone to do)! He was a great coach and changed out flies and rods to adapt to the situation. Laid out a rug and chairs to get in and out of waders, etc. Also pointed out some interesting facts about the area. Shop was helpful and accommodating to make sure everything fit well. Highly recommend F&FO and Adam!

My wife booked me a half day trip for father’s Day. It was on Crain Prairie with the guide Justin Francis. I had a great time and was set up for success by Justin! We were consistently on fish, and large ones at that! Justin was very personable and knowledgeable, he helped me a ton with my cast. I was able to catch the largest trout I have ever caught on my fly rod thanks to him! I highly recommend “Fly & Field” as well as Justin Francis for their shop and guide services, I plan to take my brother out with them the next time he comes up from Texas! I had a blast!

This fishing trip with Justin was an absolute blast. From the moment we set sail, it was clear that we were in for a real treat. Justin, our guide, not only knew the waters like the back of his hand but had a knack for finding the spots where the big ones lurked.
We weren't just fishing, we were wrangling pigs! Justin had us reeling in whoppers left, right, and center. It was like a fisherman's dream come true. Don't get me started on the scenery....
These guys are the real deal. 10/10. You will not be disappointed.

This was a dream day. We booked a full day with Wyatt and honestly could have kept going for hours more. It was so peaceful and we caught dozens of fish our first time fly fishing. Wyatt was so patient and such a great teacher

My second favorite fly shop in Bend, third best IMO in Central Oregon. Huge fly selection, wide range of gear brands, price ranges, and quality. Good shop to get setup for an experienced or new flyfisher. Usually very helpful staff, but in years past I have found the shop unfriendly, but that seems to have improved since. Don't forget to say hi to Carl.

We went on a full day fly fishing trip on the Lower Deschutes with our guide Justin. The people in the store were very friendly and helpful at getting the trip set up and fitting us with gear. Justin was great at helping us get started with fly fishing and teaching us some tips and tricks. He got us on fish and we landed several. An overall great experience! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we had a really great time.
