Really nice folks and a great inventory of rifles, shotguns and pistols. I’ve used them a few times a local FFL for transfers and it’s always a breeze and pleasant experience.

Refused to follow federal law when transferring a firearm, and then were extremely rude and dismissive when I tried to point it out to them. They then demanded I pay a 20% restock fee because they would not (legally) transfer me a rifle I had purchased.

Went in looking for an AR pistol and the staff was extremely rude. Answered one of our questions then walked away. The prices were also considerably higher than other gun shops in town. I will not be returning to HDF.

I just sold a gun collection, and I could not be more pleased with the professionalism of Tom and the rest of the staff. They carefully researched each gun and, I believe, gave me a very fair price for the collection. One item in particular was difficult for them to price and Tom reassured me, if they found that its value was greater than their estimate, I would be hearing from him to rectify any miscalculation. One cannot do better than to deal with Hammer Down Guns

Dave at hammer down sent my firearm to the wrong address, after I verified the correct address, and sent the receiving ffl paperwork. 2 day shipping nightmare. Thanks Dave.
