Well, they cost us an extra hundred dollars because they told us to return the car in Bend and were not savy enough to let us know as the bend office is no longer there and we had to drive north to Redmond and then back south again, and it was a long day to be quite honest, you would think they would know where they had offices, and where they did not ! The only reason they get two stars instead of one is because the manager at the Redmond location actually provide a good customer service.

Was sent here by State Farm and finally called them after not hearing from them for 2 weeks (busy work schedule and haven't been able to make other arrangements in the interim)....apparently they are "closed for the season" and won't be open again until October 4th. Just FYI for anyone else who might try to go here for a rental in Bend.

State farm sent me to Hertz in Bend OR to rent a car while my truck was in the shop. I called yesterday and the gal I spoke to said she would bring a SUV from Redmond. Of course I didn't ask her name. I called today 11/10/20 gave my name and they had no idea what I was talking about, I explained what transpired yesterday, and she said there were no other women working in the office today. I asked do you have the info from state farm, she says well it is attached to your name and I see no reservation in your name. she So i just asked her do you have a SUV, she tells me they give you what is on the lot. I live in La Pine where I need 4x4 SUV, it is snowing already. I told her funny that the gal I talked to yesterday found me in the system. Anyway I said never mind. My Daughter-in-Law warned me they were horrible I was hoping it didn't happen to me and of course it did. I will never go here to rent a car for personal or for business. I went to Enterprise where they always do me right in Bend.

Such an awful experience this past weekend. Had a whole deal worked out for them to “not accept my insurance card” but it was good enough to drive their car around all day. DO NOT buy a car here. They will waste your time

Brady is wonderful! He is extremely responsive, and does everything in his power to take care of you. Even throughout the shut downs, and reduced hours, he is accommodating. Thank you!

They screwed up reservation date, which was only realized when trying to pick up vehicle and really messed up my plans. If they had been the least bit courteous, it would have been nice. Rather, they were rude. Go to Enterprise.

My worst customer service (or lack of) experience to date. Both women who my family and I spoke to on multiple occasions were impolite, discourteous, and extremely unpleasant to work with. The information provided by these employees was often blatantly untrue, inaccurate, and unhelpful. I would stay far away from Hertz - Bend, OR.

Not happy. I rented a car online, when I arrived to pick it up, they didn’t even have the type of vehicle I reserved (a van for work). Also, even though I paid in full ahead of time, they still required a credit card, which we paid off and closed a long time ago. Such a hassle!

Could not recommend less. As I've just been "educated" by Brady and customer service. This is not actually a Hertz but a privately owned rental company with the Hertz badge on it. I will now be paying $300 extra for not knowing and studying up on my latest LLC's of Bend. Solid customer service practice guys. Blame the customer for picking a car up driving it to another location and dropping it off with another Hertz (with a full tank). I've rented plenty of vehicles and have never dropped them off where I picked them up. It's always been in other cities or air ports. That's how I've always seen rentals. It shouldn't be on the customer to know when specific details pertaining a privately owned Hertz and Corporately owned Hertz. It's on the staff to explain massively costly details UP FRONT like that to customers when they renting from them. Take the Hertz name down. It doesn't serve consumers in an honest fashion.
