I paid an 8 dollar flat fee for access to the facilities. It's very nice. I really liked it and I plan to go back Thursday.

Great place to swim or soak. Steam and sauna are also available here. There is a nice gym area to get on a workout, with multiple different amenities for workout options to come check out.

Best public fitness facility ?

We’ve been members with BPRD for a few months now. Every time I go to the Juniper facilities I regret it. In comparison with Larkspur, this facility is outdated and not well kept. The bathing suit spinner in the women’s locker room has been broken for a while now, the lockers require that you bring your own lock, and the bathrooms/showers are dirty. Every time I go to Larkspur I see an employee doing a locker room check (mopping floors, wiping counters, etc). I don’t see this at Juniper and the conditions show. In addition, the locker rooms do not directly connect to the pool area like they do at Larkspur. I’ve never attempted to use the gym here because it is a very small/crammed space and always looks busy.

Family with little kids. In the summer the outdoor pool is great. In the winter, while the kids indoor pool is also great, the changing rooms are limited and the other users of the changing rooms are not respectful of families with small children, especially not during the little kids swimming hours. I've gone as the only parent with two littles. When I get out of the pool I generally have to wait quite some time for one of the 4 family changing rooms to open up. After a 20 minute wait one time I watched a couple in the 50's-60's exit the room, Mile high club style. When going with my spouse and the littles this week, I tried to outsmart the mile higher clubbers and wait for a room to open while my spouse and kids were still in the pool. We had planned out a shower and changing plan to keep the 4 of us to 10 minutes . After a room opened up, I put my clothes on the babies changing table, went straight to the kids pool and plucked the 2 year old out, wrapped him in a towel and proceeded to go back to the changing room. In those two minutes a staff member had removed my clothes and given the room to someone else. My spouse and the 5 year were right behind me and we were all left dripping wet standing in the hall. Bend Parks and Recs does a great job in most other aspects. But when we take the kids to the pool here in the winter, 1 star.

Great way to spend an hour or a day! The facility is nice and well-maintained, the pools feel clean, and the steam room and sauna are HOT.

Nice swim center to take all ages especially the littles. They have a toddler splash pad so they have their own area away from even the bigger kids. They have specific times for family swim for young kiddos so check the calendar.

Best outdoor toddler activity in Bend! We had a blast! Tons of age appropriate splash pads, slides etc for all ages, even 1-2 years old! Shaded areas were plentiful and the staff was so nice. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The outdoor pool area is surrounded by green grass on a sloped hill that allows for outdoor sunbathing with a great view of the water. Snacks are sold nearby. Many chairs are available to lay on. If you tire of the sun, you can go inside and swim. There's a popular rope swing. The indoor hot tub is large, supporting many individuals. Our kids have been coming here since they were little. Now they are older but still enjoy coming here. This is an activity our family plans on doing when we travel to Bend visiting relatives. Juniper may be the best community recreation center for summertime enjoyment.

Awesome facility, very clean, reasonable day pass pricing. Worked great for an after river float to get clean and showered since we are camping nearby.

I've had the pleasure of lap swimming in various facilities but this place tops them all! Great parking, easy check in, friendly staff. Multiple attentive life guards at all times. Wonderful, clean pools, both indoor and outdoor. What more could you ask for? Thanks!

Great small gym. Good variety of equipment. Pool too for $8. Nice views too while working out.
