By far this is the worst place to do any kind of business there. Salesman Gavin Loftis gave me poor service. I inquiried on a vehicle and told him about my situation he assured me the lenders are wayed different than Nevada so I submitted one didn't hear back so I called I was told the lender is trying to get an approval next day I looked it up car already sold. He never bothered to tell me. I live 7 hours away. What a jerk! People take your business elsewhere

I bought a beautiful 2016 beetle at the end of June 2023, and Corey provided some of the best service I have ever experienced. He was responsive, kind, and I felt like he really put an effort to get me a deal I was okay with, he even drove it from bend to Hillsboro. The issues started with the lack of effective communication when it came to getting a new title, registration, and DEQ testing. It's a very complex situation that has the Oregon DMV confused about everything, during which time I got less then stellar customer service from management. With significant (to me at least) unexpected fees popping, and after exchanging some emails, where admittedly I let my financial frustrations (along with some very strong curse words) get the best of me (I'm sorry!), I was reimbursed for most of the fees that incurred.Overall* I would recommend* buying from this dealership, they are fair in making deals, and you have a lot of freedom in negotiating a deal. ** buy local if you can, distance purchases, as it turns out, suck because different counties and/or states have different requirements, which although I knew, didn't think it was going to be much of a problem, they're professionals, they should know AND tell you about it, but sometimes, they don't.***ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS. My situation seems like it was a lack of communication on BOTH SIDES, I didn't know what questions to ask, and they didn't know what I didn't understand. I would have much rather been on the same page as them, than having to fight for a reimbursement for fees.

Well, it's been two weeks since Tom responded to my Yelp review. I haven't received a call from Jack or Tom. I'd rather talk to Tom anyway, so to me it looks like they just put these generic responses out to people's reviews to make it look like. Ah they're doing something but they haven't done anything

Sprinklers gets turned and purposefully sprays your vehicle when you pullInto the parking lot. The water turns on when are by it and they rotate it to go up and down your whole vehicle.

Kevin McEneaney was amazingly helpful! We were visiting from out of town and our wipers stopped working. Even though it was a Sunday morning, and he doesn't even work in service, he went out of his way to help us get them fixed so we could get home. I wouldn't hesitate visiting him or this dealership!

CAVEAT EMPTOR!! My son bought a used car for $5000 with an inspection sheet that showed 2 minor fixes (tire alignment, oil change). 4 months later the car, which quit running, needs almost $3K in repairs that were checked off as inspected with no issues. Called Kendall and was told it was a “mechanic special” car and please note in the fine print the “as is. They didn’t market the car as a mechanics Special but as a reliable used car. Call with Jack resulted in no accountability, a lot of self-serving rhetoric and condescension with a “you’re screwed” narrative. BUYER BEWARE!

Update. After almost 2 weeks or more I finally got a reimbursement check. The owner of this place sent me a message stating the GM would call me. He didn't. I called him, left a message and guess what? He still did not call. At this point they can go stick it where the sun don't shine. This place is a complete mess. The car I purchased needs much more than I expected, from an alignment, new oil/filter (even though they claimed to change it) as it is pretty sludgy looking. Transmission is shifting oddly, interior smells of heavy smoke which was not disclosed and so on. End the end, I still love our car but this dealer is pretty is lacking in so many ways, it's not worth buying anything from them especially if not local. The lack of communication after sale is sure telling. Not a great experience to say the least but since I got my check finally, I can say goodbye to these folks for good. Thank God!

Couldn't ask for a better place to buy a car. My husband and I were shopping all over Bend. We hadn't decided on a make or model. We had it narrowed down to an VW Atlas or a Nissan Armada. The place where we were considering the Armada just didn't care about us at all: they didn't call back or answer questions. Christian Kim at Kendall was amazing! We started looking for new cars in January. Christian was nice and helpful. At the time, they didn't have what we were looking for, but contacted us as soon as the Atlas came in. At first we were sure on what SUV to get, but Christian researched for us all the cars on our maybe list- those not even VW. He altered us to typical problems in all the options. I felt like we really put Christian through the ringer because we test drove a bazillion cars and stopped by unannounced several times. He was always cheerful and helpful. not once did he try to pressure us into buying something - either new or used. For a while we were considering a Tahoe or Yukon and Christian looked high and low for an suv that met our needs. In the end, we did purchase a new Atlas. The manager Damon Kowell worked so hard to find us the best financing possible. Rube en Díaz jumped in to help at the end. I've never had such a nice experience buying a car. Everyone at Kendall VW was genuine and I feel like they've become family. The team there really just wants to match you with the car that is best for you. Did I mention that poor Christian answered our bazillion questions? Also, he didn't show it if he was annoyed when my husband and I quarreled about price. He's amazing. Thank you to Kendall VW for helping us buy my dream car. I've only had VW and was a bit loyal to start. But w all the crazy COVID prices and inventory shortages, I though I might try something new. Cheers!

We drove here from out of town just to "look" at cars because my wife needed a new family SUV. We test drove a 2022 Atlas here and the salesman, Pieter, was so accommodating and nice. He's no longer with Kendall VW but I'm glad he was our guy. We even told him to give us a night to think about it. We ended up buying the Atlas the next day after much deliberation. They gave us a good APR and an excellent payment plan so we took it. Another incident was when we parked the same Atlas nose down on an almost 45° incline driveway a bit low on gas. The car wasn't starting (sputtering) as we wanted to back out of the driveway so I gave Kendall's technician team a call. They quickly realized it's because of the placement of the fuel pump that the engine was no longer 'getting' gasoline. It was a user error indeed, just nice to have support over the phone like that.

My VW needed to have my coolant topped up and after calling five places in Bend who did not have the time, I found Kendall Volkswagen who said sure come in. Paul Kincannon not only topped up my coolant, but also topped up my window cleaner and fixed my bumper that caught on something. It took five minutes from the time I arrived and the Paul's service was excellent.
