I would recommend shopping elsewhere for major purchases or anything time sensitive. I visited Lone Crow Bungalow in late June to purchase a Pendleton blanket and to special order a few rugs from one of their vendors. A few weeks went by and they let me know that my rugs were in and available for pickup. When I arrived to the shop, the employee’s panicked expression said it all: they had no idea where my order was. They went back and forth to the stockroom and were making phone calls and searching for my order. I get it — things happen — so they took my info and asssured me that this would be made right. After multiple emails with the owner over the span of several weeks, I was asked to repeatedly provide information I’d given in store, and promised that my order would be expedited with the vendor. More than two weeks after my in store visit, the rugs were finally re-ordered with not so much as an apology from the owner about the delay or the mishap. Cute shop, but I would steer clear and shop elsewhere.

This shop is always on the list of stores to go to when visiting family in Bend. However, last weekend I thought bringing my 5 year old Grandson with me would be a good idea. It is not! Let me save the rest of you some trouble. Mind you, he is well behaved, but might touch things, he is 5. He touch something..... with his index finger, he touched a tree on a $2000 gingerbread house. I know this because the sales lady nearly broke a leg getting to us and told us, "Oh my goodness, don't let him touch that, someone paid $2000 for that it is very very fragile. They will be picking it up and want it in tack." So here is my take. If I paid $2000 for a gingerbread house, I want it waiting for me behind the counter, not on a low table in the middle of the store. The over reaction was completely unnecessary and honestly embarrassing. I went in thinking I would buy a gift but quickly changed my mind, I can buy a Pendleton blanket some place else. If you don't want families in your store, please post a sign. No, that wouldn't be socially acceptable but neither is your behavior

Such a cute shop with many unique items that would be perfect for the home or as gifts for others. Much of the items found in the shop are not something I've seen before. It is very an Oregon shop with books on nature, Bigfoot, and cooking. There is a large selection of beautiful cards for all events. I will note for any with problems with string smells, they did have a very strong defuser going, so there was a strong scent in the whole shop. The only staff I saw was the ladies at the register, which makes sense since the walking area is enough for 1 or 2 people at a time and the shop was very full. Some of the items are priced very reasonable, and others are a bit higher than I would expect. So just make sure to check the prices to avoid a shock at the register. This cute shop is so worth the walk through and you may find the perfect gift for someone who has everything.

Great selection of Cookbooks! Not your everyday run of the mill books! You can tell the buyer very carefully selects high quality items that you don't find everywhere else. What a great place to find a special gift! I found the staff to be friendly and courteous.

Super rude staff, insulted my teenage daughter for no reason. Serious “get off my lawn” vibes.

What a cute store and its both delightful and dangerous because of that. Shelves and shelves full of great décor items plus they had Christmas décor at this particular visit too because we were there right before Christmas. I had a hard time stopping myself from buying everything in sight . The shop features a curated collection of mountain rustic gifts--from Pendleton blankets and custom corn hole sets, to hand-carved clocks and Americana décor. It is warm and welcoming and everything is displayed beautifully. Every time I thought I was done looking, something else would catch my eye .The store tends to feel a little cramped up because of this as it was a challenge moving around without knocking something off or hitting another customer .

Went in because they have a great window display...and that is the only reason they get the 2 stars.High end of reasonable with there prices (depending on what you get).Small space and that's a little frustrating when you have people leaving there child filled strollers in the isle or just not bothering to carry manners. Sad because this shop was cute. The younger brunnette Lady at the counter was a bit short me and rude.I wont be going back.

After nearly 20 years in business, Bend Bungalow (more recently Lone Crow Bungalow), has become downtown Bend's beloved gift shop, featuring a curated collection of mountain rustic gifts -- from Pendleton blankets and custom corn hole sets, to hand-carved clocks and Americana décor. If you're looking for a quaint boutique that sells heirloom-quality gifts and goods, Lone Crow Bungalow is the place to patron on Wall Street. Rebecca Chase, owner and Decorator-in-Chief, has immaculate taste, both in regards to the products she sells and with the staff she hires. A quick shout-out to Cecilia: you rock, especially when it comes to your customer service skillset! We could go on and on about this place; it is, quite simply, the best that Bend has to offer the "mountain cabin" shopper. Note to Ms. Chase -- If Katie and I ever buy that 3,600 square foot, single story, 1920s Hollywood-style bungalow in West Bend on the Deschutes River, we'll come to Lone Crow Bungalow to furnish pretty much all of it.
