Great vet! I brought a young cat in with bloody diarrhea. He took the time to explain all the possible causes of the symptoms. And he explained the testing needed to determine what was the real problem. He was very thorough.

Dr. Anthony oddo is one of the kindest generous and loving veterinarians I've ever met. He goes above and beyond for your pets. He treats every animal with compassion and love and will do anything in his power to help your animal. He has helped me out time and time again with my animals, and has helped me out in more ways than one and is willing to work with you if you're struggling. I have Many animals that have special needs like my diabetic cat. Dr. Oddo always makes sure I have what he needs. If you want great care for your pets .. He is the one to see. I have so much love and gratitude for this man. He loves animals and he loves what he does.

I brought my 3 month old MinPin in for her last round of puppy shots and a fecal sample. All the girls were soo friendly and caring. I also LOVE the fact that Dr. O'Conner's is very aware of what is necessary for vaccinations depending on the area. Will be taking the little one there again for sure.

Dr. Oddo seems to enjoy chastising clients who consult or utilize other veterinary offices in the Bend area. Very territorial behavior exhibited. He misdiagnosed our cat and prescribed completely unnecessary medication, which would have directly caused our cat's death, which another competent veterinarian fortunately caught and advised that our cat didn't even need at all. Also, our cat appeared visibly traumatized after visiting this particular veterinary office on two separate occasions but doesn't at all after visiting our new veterinary office. Weird?! Last but not least, this veterinary office loves to bundle and pad the bill for "services" supposedly rendered but who knows what was or wasn't actually done since the animals can't talk, just appear victimized. If you love your pet and wish to pay reasonable charges, go elsewhere!!!

I can't recommend High Desert Vet enough. They were extremely helpful with both of our dogs, one who is old and needed special attention. If you are looking for a quality Veterinary Clinic in the Central Oregon Area, Tony and the staff here are wonderful!
