Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a bank. Had an IRA account. Closed it to go with a better interest rate. It took them thirty days to give me my money from my OWN account. Lost a month's worth of interest... about $145... and I had to jump through a bunch of hoops... literally hours of work to close this account. The local branch is friendly enough, but nothing but incompetence in their main headquarters.

I've been banking with them for some time. I have always had direct deposit. I have always had it come every 2 weeks on Tuesday. It didn't come this time. Kept checking and some of my coworkers get it on Thursday. Checked today and called them twice. No payroll deposit and it's on their end. Going on vacation tomorrow. Guess I'm looking for a new bank. This is not acceptable.

Sad to report about this business. What do they do well? Easy setup of accounts! Redmond branch has nice employees. They seemed like they would genuinely help us when my daughter had fraud committed on her account. Opportunities for improvement Calling them for anything is rough. I've been on hold a ton. The fraud department is the absolute worst!! They are hard to understand and they often cannot help after waiting a long time!!!! And they tell you you will get a letter but they freeze your accounts. Long story shortened. 18 year old daughter... very independent but not wise. She got tricked into opening a link through an email. And the following month got hacked on an app she hasn't used in years. We reported to them as soon as she told me about it. They drained all of her funds. Over $2200 from savings which took her several years to save for a car!!!! And $250 in babysitting money in her checking. Then they canceled her debit card and froze her account for 2 full months while they investigated. Then they credit her back the funds and say that it is a temporary decision but she is still not allowed to add a new check to her accounts. Then a few weeks later they say "we have confirmed the transaction was authorized or initiated by you therefore you are liable". So a hacker stole around $2500 from her and they decided it was her fault for using the cash app on her phone a few years ago.

Been going here for 6 years, not once have I had a problem! Even lived out of state for several years and they were easy to get ahold of and very helpful. Evan, in particular was very kind and resolved my situation with ease.

Banked here for years and couldn't be happier! From taking my name and promising to call back with an answer (then doing so in minutes!), to walking us through a tricky home mortgage, to following up repeatedly until an issue with an online vendor was resolved (NOT OnPoint's fault), to being genuinely great people always happy to see you walk in the door, one of the nicest companies I've ever worked with.

Online and on the building says 24 hour ATM but doors are locked after business hours for the ATM.

Bought a van for my personal use and had OnPoint refuse the loan through "cuddle" 'cuz it wasn't a car. And then they jack up the interest rates almost double. And they make you go through some in office (COVID, duh?) process if you choose to pay the onerous rate. They should be clear in their advertising that they don't sell loans on a lot of vehicles that customers might want. The idea of being a "member" of a CU is pretty silly. [edit] Oh, this gets worse. So for a van that was against their policy to insure they ran a credit check. So I have an extra ding on my credit because of their incompetence. Hint: If you are going to refuse the loan for non-fiscal reasons *don't* run the credit report.
