I really like this place, everyone is so friendly and there are so many challenging greens that are so much fun. I left my Bluetooth speaker (Blue tees) in the cart this morning and I still haven't found it. I hope whoever took it will return it to the office.

This golf course has undergone remarkable transformations since the homeowners purchased it! In particular, the past year has been nothing short of spectacular. My husband and I golf here at least three days a week, and it’s simply breathtaking! If you’re visiting Bend or a local who hasn’t been in a while, you must check it out. You won’t be disappointed. I even walk my one-year-old through the 18 holes, and he absolutely loves seeing all the wildlife, especially the deer. You should really check it out!

Honestly a difficult course due to the change in elevation. But the two stars come from lack of direction or signs to point you towards the next hole unlike any other course I have played. The greens were a lil messed up. The cart girl was probably the best experience, she was frequently showing up like the most I’ve ever seen from any other course. Like I said just getting completely lost in where to go was ever so frustrating. The fairway had so many divets and random spots of just messed up patches.

Great layout and would recommend to anyone visiting this area. I played on a Thursday in July and there was not cart person. I would recommend not renting clubs from the course due to them being generic and not maintained.

Course management is a bit rough around the edges. The practice areas (putting green and driving range) are a mere token of what they used to be. It's Central Oregon, with vast amounts of sunshine, why can't you grow some grass? The course is decent but water mismanagement has alot of wet spots (played after noon on an 86 degree day) and dead spots and fungus on the greens. Lastly, they have a cart pickup and return policy that doesn't allow you to drive the cart in the parking lot. This forces you to lug your clubs from the car to the cart and from the cart return to your car. Total BS. Most if not all public courses in Central Oregon allow carts in the parking lot which allows you to conveniently start and end the round. Small details yes, but a customer satisfaction issue. This course was a gem 25 years ago. Let's hope the homeowners ownership gets their act together and brings it back to the condition it was then.

Fantastic course, restaurant wasn't the best. Ice cold hot dog and unenthusiastic staff. Gorgeous greens and fairways

Wanted to get out and try this course considering it’s 10 minutes away from my house and for 50 bucks for 9 holes I thought it was going to be up to par with the other courses around bend… the t boxes were sloped and some barely had grass, some of the greens had a “waste area” in the center of them and the bunkers barely had enough sand in them to hit out of them… I really wish this course was a gem for the price, but the only good thing about it was the trackman on the range.

Played 9 holes at 5pm and it cost $65 per person. We thought we would splurge and expected the course to match the price. DEFINITELY DID NOT. Upon arrival in the golf shop, I wasn’t greeted by the service rep, he just asked when our tee time was. As well, he wasn’t friendly, didn’t direct to me the cart I should take, nor where the first tee time. As a former golf sales manager, I wouldn’t be pleased if this was the first interaction my guests had. There were signs everywhere noting that carts weren’t allowed in the parking lot, but there was no one manning bag drop. Lastly, the course was in horrific condition with very dead grass, holes everywhere, and unkempt conditions. Won’t be returning and would recommend that you try out Old Back Nine!!
Update: Course management refunded the full amount which is appreciated.

They fixed the course up very nice.

Course is worth half of what it costs to play. Forcing people to pay twice for 1 cart still baffles me.

Thought the course layout was good. Course has an infestation of chipmunks and ground moles with holes everywhere. If we saw 10 we saw at least 100 scurrying everywhere. There was animal feces on many tees. Course condition was poor with dead areas on many greens and fairways. It was obvious that the course isn’t cared for. It was the second time in 50 years of playing that I walked off after 9 holes. The staff refused a full refund for my wife and me for the 9 holes we didn’t play. Pretty unhappy with this experience!!

Ist time playing RE and enjoyed how technical the course is setup. The occasional tier-greens were very interesting. Golf carts are setup nicely with GPS, built-in coolers and ball & club cleaners. The only downside of the 1st-time experience was the Grill. Food was mediocre and it took an extraordinary amount of time for the food to be prepped and brought out. Case in point, my order of a simple hot dog ended up with the dog coming out relatively promptly, but it took almost 30 minutes for the french fries to come out. One of our group ordered the prime rib sandwich (one of the speciald) and it took forever for a meager sandwich to come out with a small handful of soggy Fries. Salt in the wound... guests the came in before us were served before us. (Perhaps they preordered via the phone or Q Code provided in the golf cart. Thr staff seemed overwhelmed. A sad ending to what was a good day on the links.

Course was in tough shape and for 95 bucks it was hard to see the value.
