Update: Service Manager reached out to follow up on my experience and so I’ve adjusted my rating.
Walked in to the service department and stood stood there for 5 full minutes without anyone acknowledging me.
One guy was working with a customer. 3 others were standing around having a conversation. A 4th guy walked in and right past me to his computer and answered the ringing phone. He had no way of knowing I hadn’t been helped yet but it was enough for me and I left.
My A/C just randomly quit blowing cold air and I was hoping the dealer could help me diagnose but it’s 100 degrees outside and I’m cranky and will go somewhere else.

I test drove the Carbon CX-50 (great car) with Devon Long, and had a great experience with him. Excellent customer service, he was very intelligent, personable and knowledgeable about the vehicles and buying process. I also was happy that the prices and deals advertised on their website were accurate to the actual costs of the cars at the dealership.

We had a great experience with Devon at Kendall! He was easy to work with and even had snacks and toys to keep the little entertained! Thank you so much for the help. We absolutely love our new car.

May 2024 update.... so the day after my last updated review, I received a call from the general manager of Kendall. He was very nice and professional. He took the time to address my issues and fix the problem. I wish I could upgrade to 5 stars because after he got involved, I had a great experience. The issues with the service crew may still be there, but the new service member that took care of us was excellent, Scott was his name. They sent us with a loaner while getting work done, it took a week to get in the part needed and was fixed.
April 2024 update.....solid 1 star - The service dept here is not worth the paper the warranty is written on. We have the best warranty you can get, paying extra. We came in with a CEL light and are told there is a 4 month wait to get seen by appointment here and to just drive it as is. They didn't even want to look at the car nor scanned it for the code. Having this experience with service, I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealer group.
Two years ago, these guys sales department were great. We went in for a new car for my wife, cx5/awd, and Dane worked with us to get the job done quickly. It took us about 2.5 hours total. Dane and Paul(in finance) stayed after hours to get us finished up. Great experience with this establishments sales dept which is most likely due to the staff we dealt with.

Took my Mazda in to inquire about a trade-in and the used car manager said there was an extra 5k miles on my odometer, which was clearly fabricated to lower their trade in offer. It was also appraised at “fair” condition without any explanation as to why. Took my business to a different Mazda dealership in the Portland area and was offered $5,000 more than I was offered at Kendall and my vehicle was appraised at good/excellent. A disappointing experience with questionable business ethics.

Derik sold me a cx50 in November and I wanted to make sure I came back to leave a shining review for him. He made the experience very pleasant. I am less than satisfied with the finance manager who talked me into a warranty I didn't understand and ended up paying more than I wanted to per month. As a first time new car buyer there was plenty I didn't know and it seems the warranty I ended up with will be excessive/ unnecessary. He was personable, but I'm not thrilled about my monthly payment/paying more for the vehicle than I had agreed to with Derik.

Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had anywhere. The car we wanted was promised to be held until our loan got approved 2-3 days and as soon as our loan got approved the man we were working with decided to sell the car to someone else anyways. So then we had to wait a month for a new shipment to come in, and he said he would hold our car again so we could get it, he called us to let us know the car was in, we said great we are ready to sign right now and we asked if we could come in, then he said he was too busy for us to come in to sign papers, and the next day some other guy at the dealership sold our car. Now we have to go to Eugene through their dealership there, and as soon as the transfer or whatever was done and it’s ready to be picked up, a giant snow storm hits and we can’t make it over the pass.
If this guy would have just held our car in the beginning for the 3 days that he promised we would have had our car a month ago. Then if he wasn’t “too busy” for us a month later when the new shipment came in we would have gotten it then. Or if he wasn’t so dead set on being the one to get our sale, he could have let the other guy have our sale if he was too busy for us. But no he decided to screw us over 2 times. I’m irritated with the service there, but mostly because we were getting a new car because we have a child and our car we have now is not reliable or safe enough for us to feel comfortable driving with her. Especially in the snow.
Very very disappointed. Do not recommend buying a car from this dealership at all. Just go somewhere else and I’m sure you will actually be treated with basic human decency, unlike this dealership.

Purchased a 2024 Mazda CX-90 from Kendall Mazda and love it! I test drove several cars over a couple month period looking for just the right car. I found the color and interior I wanted and Paul and Derek sourced it from another dealer. The service was truly exceptional- professional, knowledgeable, very nice and low pressure. I highly recommend this dealership.

Love my Mazda, did not love this experience. Poor communication the whole way. My trade in loan took almost 2 months to get paid off rather than the 15 day pay off timeline and I ended up paying the difference of interest accrued during that time. Absolutely taken advantage of with my trade in. Posted for $10,000 over what they said was the "best" they could do. Won't be returning to or recommending this branch.

While shopping for our new car we met Derrik Sprando who greeted us at the Mazda dealership. During our test drive Derrik really shined on his product knowledge and some amazing historical facts about Mazda. Derrik actively worked hard to help us determine if the car we were interested in will provide the comfort, reliability and enjoyment we required and expected. We left the dealership pleased with our findings to decide on which car we wanted.upon return about a week later Derrik was busy with another customer and introduced us to Devin Long. Amazingly Devin picked right up where Derrik left off. First and foremost Devin worked hard to make sure our comfort and expectations of our new vehicle will be met. Devin and Derrik navigated our negotiation, settlement price and terms smooth and seamlessly.We returned on our appointment day to learn about the information center in our car. Devin patiently went through every step in the center explaining it and setting our comfort levels with all the electronic features. He was able to answer all our questions while demonstrating every electronic feature.In summery Derrik and Devin represened themselves sdmirably as Ambassadors of Kendell Mazda. They are personable professional gentlemen with a fantastic knowledgable about Mazda's. They made our car buying experience most enjoyable.If you are interested in a Mazda I highly recommend you seek out Derrik and go on a test drive.

Called a few weeks ago about a recall on my car (associate on the phone CONFIRMED ACTIVE RECALL) scheduled an appointment and when i got there to drop the car off today, the recall is “inactive” and shows multiple other inactive recalls and refused to help or even listen to what was going on. Car stereo is completely unusable and hasn’t even that long since the recall came out. go somewhere else and you’ll get a much better experience.Receptionist was also unprofessional when called.
