This is a nice Safeway in town, but do not go in the morning. They only have one checker until 7 AM and it takes 20 minutes to check out go somewhere else in the morning otherwise this place is great staff.

I shop here because it’s Safeway and I thought you guys knew how to bag groceries, I thought it was common sense not to put raw meat in the same bag as produce. I will be taking my business elsewhere

Looks like I am not the only one finding expired products on the shelves at this Safeway. Yesterday was 6/10, and the packaged carrots were "use by 6/3", so expired for a week. A couple of weeks ago it was expired pico de gallo. It seems no one is checking the products once put out on the shelves. Ridiculous!

If you are buying perishable groceries at this Safeway, check the dates carefully. I have talked twice to produce clerks about expired packages of produce. And when that didn't help (same stuff was still on the shelves the next day) I asked to speak to the store manager. Wasn't available and an assistant store manager promised to take care of it. Nothing changed. They don't seem to care, have apparently no process in place to remove expired food from their shelves and count on unsuspecting customers to buy it.

We went to this Safeway location last Thursday (01/04/2024) and brought packed corn, without knowing the best by date of this product was 12/30/2023. I realized it today when I try to prepare it, as the corn was smelly and cannot be cooked. Check the best before date when you buy any product from this Safeway location
