Pulled into this hotel today after a long ride and I was a little early so the staff said I can wait in the air condition lobby where I was able to drink a delicious cup of coffee while I waited for 10 minutes. All the staff we're super friendly and supportive. The manager knows a lot about this town so you have questions about bend Oregon I would are doing asking her. I like to play so much that I booked a room for my return home trip in 10 days. The manager comped me an upgrade for nothing. The rooms are clean The AC works well. The shower works well. Unfortunately I'm going to be leaving before breakfast in the morning so I can't give you a review on the food. If it's as good as the coffee then it'll be excellent. As a motorcycle rider and a hog member call me they gave me a 10% discount. Also made sure I had a first floor room right next to my bike. They allow dogs in some of the rooms but no cats.Walkability: There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Downtown is a mile and a half drive

Staff was friendly and very outgoing. Parking spot right outakde the room. Room was large and clean. Beds were comfy. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was great! They had an assortment of sausages, toast, bagels, waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, tea etc.The room wasn't 100% ready for us. Found a few pieces of garbage lying around the room. There were no cups for the coffee, and we were given the wrong password 2x.

A great stay for a good price. We made our reservation through a third party (GoSplitty) and there were some problems with it when we got there, but the staff did a great job of figuring it out and making it work. The breakfast was good, and had more variety than I expected for a complimentary motel breakfast.Rooms: The rooms are small and have all the normal motel features; microwave, mini-fridge (with a VERY small freezer section), TV. TV is cable, no streaming services or phone casting available. Bathroom is fairly spacious for what it is, with a tub/shower combo. The mattress was quite firm, a little too much for me.Nearby activities: There is a nearby park, Sawyer Park, that is a great place to walk. Lots of little trails in multiple directions, we were able to do something different each of the three days we were there.Walkability: The motel is right off of a huge stroad (multi-lane high traffic street/road) but there are sidewalks all down it and lighted/timed crosswalks not too far in both directions (north and south). So it's not quite ideal as far as walkability (especially if you have young kids), but pretty good.

Best hotel, motel or inn service i have experienced. The rooms were spotless, all the sheets and laundry were fresh, shower products and all that. Walls are rather thin but the beds are comfortable enough you don’t notice for very long. Walked in so late looking homeless and the guy who greeted us was kind, understanding and enthusiastic to get us into a room, even telling us to book online to save some money.

Do not recommend. Stayed 4 nights for business we had three rooms for 6 people. Aside from each room having varying issues (broken furniture, very loud appliances). Didn't receive housekeeping for the entire stay,and with only 3 towels in each room for construction type guys was insufficient. When we asked the front desk she gave us a bag of towels and told us the maid no call no showed last night and I asked about the other 3 night, which she replied that's why they are hiring. I guess others knew of reputation of hotel because aside from our 3 rooms we never saw more than 1 other room rented on any other night. Our company will need to go elsewhere in the future.

There were ants all in the bathroom. And shower rod was broken. We requested we get a nice room from the start and we get put in this.

Was a good stay for the value. A bit on the north end of town, so it is not near most attractions. But the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Met or exceeded expectations for a weeklong budget stay for a nearby weeklong conference.Friendly staff gave solid recommendations and dealt effectively with our concerns.Would happily consider the Sugarloaf again for another stay in Bend.(Also, check out Pilot Butte on a clear day if you visit Bend. Wonderful views from a vista right in town.)Walkability: Ready access to a number of services. Easily walked to the Riverhouse for conference events.

Stayed one night paid $150 on a Saturday stay. Woke up Sunday morning and had gravy and biscuits for a free Continental breakfast. Rooms were okay shower was okay refrigerator was included microwave was included TV was included they just needed a light over the table next to the window because when it got dark and the window shade was closed you couldn't see anything sitting at the table. We would recommend this place to anyone needing a place to stay I have stayed here before many years ago and the quality is good.

Sarah at the front desk is a sweetheart and very accommodating. Located close to downtown plus dutch bros coffee and burger King across the street. WinCo just a couple blocks away. Incase you forgot to pack something or need coffee.The hotel is fine. We have a dog friendly room freshly remodeled. The air conditioner will freeze you out. The fridge works perfect.The pool is heated and open late which is nice for vacation. If you're like us you don't spend much time in your room.Rooms: Our room was newly remodeled nd dog friendly. I'd like somewhere to hang my clothes but everything else is awesome.Nearby activities: The river is close by to do day floatThe Crux for beers and snacks.14 acre dog park ( mostly sand for big dogs so don't go while it's hot because the sand is hot too).14

Confirm your booking before heading here. This motel overbooked about 15 rooms this past weekend and left people who booked in advance scrambling to find another place to stay at 3X the cost and offered nothing to help.

Absolutely loved this motel. We were a party of 3 adults + dog and we were only looking for a basic room for our weekend trip to Bend. This motel went way beyond our expectations. Great location away from downtown but not so far that you are struggling to find places for food. Room was spacious and beds were comfy. Shower was great. AC worked well. Staff was beyond friendly and super professional. Breakfast could have been better certainly but for the rate and all other things considered, it wasn't a problem. I'd definitely stay here again!
