They were upfront with the cost which was good. They failed to mention they had caveats regarding their warranty, they said it was a straight 2 years coverage, but didn’t mention they had certain hurdles you had to complete during those two years to retain the warranty. Which was unethical on their part. My cars gear changes are not smooth after the transmission rebuilt on top of when you let off the gas and then press it again there are times when it feels like when it was going out in the first place. My car runs at least.

After pulling our heavy 5th wheel from Texas, for a summer of fun in Oregon, our transmission fluid was getting hot and causing shifting issues in our Dodge Ram 3500. Original Bend T. got us in right away as we pulled into Bend. This was after a month of traveling up the Oregon coast and through Portland, having difficulty in finding anyone that could take care of us. My wife and I are grateful for the quick turn around time and of course, fixing the issue.

I had the transmission in my truck replaced last year. After I waited a month for the appointment (no big deal) they kept my truck for an entire month before even looking at it. Another month in the shop and I was told it’s ready. When I picked up the truck I immediately knew something was wrong. It sounded horrible and idled rough (it had never sounded like that). I brought this to their attention and they told me that it wasn’t their fault. So I brought it to the mechanic I usually go to and they took a look at it and told me 3 bolts on the exhaust header were stripped and it wasn’t sealing properly. They also told me the cause of the transmission failure, a leak in the trans cooler, wasn’t touched at all. There has been zero accountability from Bend Transmission Company. I would NEVER recommend this shop to anyone. The transmission they replaced does work well and seems to be in good shape. Which is the only reason I didn’t give one star.

If I went to the other places in Bend that I asked to have my transmission fixed. I would be down an extra $2500k and still waiting another 10 days for my truck to be fixed. Now my truck at 110k miles runs better than when I bought it at 64k miles. One place even suggested I buy a new one. They were going to charge me double the amount of OBTC.?The majority of the trucks for sale had more miles than my truck currently has and cost about $5k more than I paid for my truck. I am a very happy customer.

Had the transmission in my Jeep rebuilt with a lot of upgrades, they did a great job . Price was what I was quoted. Had my 1 year service done today everything went smoothly and had a nice chat the lady in the office

From the moment I had an interaction with Amber, there was no doubt. That I was in good hands. Anthony is a perfectionist, those two are who you're going to deal with. An amazing team they must have there. They're honest and very great with pricing. I will say be prepared to be without your car for a bit depending on the circumstances of what needs fixing. Cause I had a complete transmission repair, didn't have it for every bit of a month. For the service I had performed, it came with a warranty. I love that! It's like you're apart of the family cause they give you a time frame as to when you should come back. So they can take a look at it. They're the best! They're awesome! Any shuttering or slipping in your transmission. Go and see these amazing people, have a conversation. They'll get you taken care of.
