We took a power tool in for repair in August, got it back after 3 weeks and it didn't work due to bad part but it wasn't tested before it left the shop to know it wasn't working. Took it back and heard nothing for 3 more weeks. Stopped in to ask about it and was told it was going to be sent out to the manufacturer for repair. That was another 3 weeks ago. No calls or communication of any kind. I have had to call or stop in to get any information every step of the way. I called today and was treated very impolitely and the call ended abruptly. I can get past the rudeness if the tool was repaired properly and in a timely manner but none of this has happened. I was told it might be another two weeks "but it's not uncommon for repair to take a year or more." Not true from past experience with other shops but he was the one who worked on our brand of tool. We WILL NOT ever use this guy again or recommend his shop.

Extremely rude guy. My friend and I brought in her old tools and didn't know much about them but was referred to this company by cash connection..he looked at the tools for 3 seconds, slammed it shut and said NOPE!! It doesn't cost you anything to be a kind person. You could have said, ladies these are a bit outdated, and I unfortunately don't take these but I appreciate you coming in. So unprofessional and so disrespectful. Don't come to this business, you will not get common decency

Very rude. I just called to see if they were interested in a compressor I had. And the guy was very short with me and asked how much I wanted and I told him and the guys said I’ll pass and hung up on me. He didn’t try to negative or anything. I think that is bad business. I called Bend Pawn shop first and they were very helpful. They straight up told me how much they would pay for it and how much they are selling the compressors for and they even said if your looking to get a little more and they gave me a couple names to call. So Bend Pawn Shop very helpful and I wish more businesses could be like Bend Pawn. Helpful And polite. I wouldn’t recommend Trade-N-Tools - very rude and they hang up on you.

The owner is knowledgeable, honest, and has a great selection of tools at a fair price. Diagnostic and repair prices are more than fantastic, will be doing business here again.

The owner always has a specific tool I need for a fair price. I'm not sure about selling here, though, as I never have.

They have tools others don’t, they have inexpensive tools when you don’t mind buying used. Great option for that “once in a while tool”. Cool owner too.

Did not get a name of the guy I spoke with but he was a complete prick. Wasn’t interested in what I had to offer at all. And then hung up on me.

This was a episode of taking advantage of the local weather and people who dont plan far enough ahead (mainly me). As I entered the store the owner and what I would call a local businessman were talking about various tools. I needed to drill a 4" hole in my metal sided trailer. After checking at Home Depot for a 4" hole saw and seeing that it cost $36.00 I thought I would try this second hand tool store called Trade-N-Tools. Maybe grab a cheap jig saw and improvise. When the owner approached me in the aisle he asked if I had found what I needed and as i chose a jigsaw I followed him up to pay the $15 for it. While there I heard him talking with the local guy on how he had sold 5 hole saws today already. I told him thats what I needed and asked him if he had another and how much. While he checked, I spoke with the friendly local who told me how he had bought four hole saws a few months earlier for $20.00.The owner returned with the hole saw and quoted me $30.00. This was without the guide bit even. Nearly the same as Home Depot. Actually more with the guide bit included.I declinded and instead bought the jig saw for $15. Telling him I could handle the job just fine for half the cost. I imagine if you all are feeling the economy pinch like I am, then you know every penny counts. I just couldn't justify the added cost. By the way the jigsaw worked like a dream and I saved $15.00. ?

Tool N Trade has some good prices on tools on certain things and has some good deals but the costumer service is HORRIBLE. The owner is extremely rude and incompetent. Unless he is making a sale he doesn’t care about your time or questions, he isn’t friendly. Will never be returning due to the attitude. We bought a tool with no battery. Thought the tool was a good deal and he said it was brand new. Come to find out that we can buy the tool brand new for $30 more with a battery and charger. But for a new battery it’s $80. When we went to return it he said “nothing is wrong with it so we will only do in store credit.” How does he know nothing is wrong with it if he doesn’t have the battery’s in store to prove it?

Needed to rent a hand truck to move a stove. Really nice and helpful owner. Found exactly what I needed to get the job done. For a fair price.
