Went to this UPS location today around 4:30 PM to drop off a couple of packages. The young woman (fairly tall, long, dark hair) at the counter was superficially nice, but clearly slyly made me do work she should have been doing, while making things as difficult as possible for me.Both of my boxes were quite large. Instead of helping me place one on the scale, she watched me awkwardly slide one on with a smug smile. After weighing it, she had the nerve to tell me, to take it off the scale, and put the other one on. She, as the employee should have been taking the damn box off and placing it in the proper bin. Additionally, she saw that my arms were completely full with holding the second box, which was on the heavy side. Normally, I would tell such lazy, entitled workers to shape up and do their job. But I was tired and didn't feel like having to play mommy to this child. She continued to watch smugly, as I awkwardly held the second box with one arm, while struggling to push the first large box off of the scale.The second box was an Amazon return, and I had not had a chance to tape it shut because I had run out of packing tape. This should not have mattered because it is UPS's job to do any of the sealing for Amazon returns. Every single one of the many UPS stores I've been to across multiple states has always told me to not worry about taping the boxes shut because that's their responsibility. They've even stopped me when I was in the process of taping to do it themselves.The layabout at the 740 NE 3rd UPS literally told me take the box to the back counter, tape it myself, then bring it back to her. The more that I think about, the more incredulous I am at how she basically ordered me about like I was her servant, while barely lifting a finger herself.Now I hate hate hate thinking this was on account of my race, as I'm a minority, but I did not see her play this passive-aggressive superiority game with the white man that was in line before me. And don't give me the excuse that this employee is also from a minority group, so therefore this occurrence could not be true. Certain individuals in minority groups can be far more demeaning toward fellow minorities than they ever are to whites.Please train your employees properly and teach them the right way to do their jobs, and to treat ALL customers courteously and fairly. A fake smile and being from an underprivileged group does not justify or conceal underlying bad behavior that is inexcusable in any situation.

1-6-24 The male employee was throwing packages like he was playing baseball when we walked in and I had a prepaid label and always just drop it off at the counter then leave. He rudely embarrassed me and my son telling me in front of 5 customers to not cut in line and to wait in line just to drop the packages off. I have been going to this store as long as it has been here and usually the employees are fantastic and just say if you have a label just drop it here. This kid was so rude and unprofessional and I will never go to this store again.

DO NOT USE THIS UPS STORE! They charge an arbitrary “holding fee” for picking up packages at this location. Say they can do that because they are independently owned no where is this posted when you send or pickup a package.

She wasn’t open just yet, but she was kind enough to take my package for me anyways and weigh it making sure it was good to go. Much appreciated!! Thank you sweet brunette lil lady! ??

They are awful! And rude. They want to charge me 15.00 to send something back to Amazon. They don’t understand customer service. Will gladly not go back!

Easy to get in and out of the store when I return packages from Amazon.I also enjoy the proximity to other stores I frequently shop at making my return easier.

I've been a customer and box holder since they opened. Great Service! Friendly Staff! Helpful! They take care of their box holders by holding mail and boxes even if you are traveling. I can't say enough good things about them!!!!!

Was turned away at the century location because “color prints take 24 hours and the print manager will not be working tomorrow”. I called ahead to this location and Ashley took care of me. Exceptional customer service from her and extremely efficient. I requested color prints and on cardstock and she was able to take care of me in less than 10 minutes. Great service.

Every single time I come here their customer service is incredibly disappointing and just disrespectful.I don’t recommend this store staying around central Oregon . The point of their paid jobs are customer service am I right .I will save them the hassle of sharing yet another poor epic Shi!!ty fail

I don’t give reviews but this time I had too. Went there yesterday at 4:30. One other person in there. I needed a notary. Was told that after 4:00 they don’t do them. Come back tomorrow when they open early (8am) and it can be done. So I came back today. 8:30am. One customer before me at the counter. While I waited for my turn. 10 minutes. Another customer came in. So 3 of us there. When it was my turn I was told that they don’t do notary’s until 10. She was a notary but to busy to do it. There is just me and one other person in the store.Bad customer service. Bad bad bad.

Paid nearly 4 grand for shipping costs, damaged most of my items, refused to pay out on the insurance I paid for and refused to refund. Basically stole 4 grand from me, beware these crooks

My packages were pre-labeled, but the lady at the counter told me I had to wait in line behind everybody else just to drop the packages. What is the point of pre-labeling if you have to wait in line? So moronic! And, the staff was very rude about it as well. There are other UPS stores around, don't give this location your business.

Ever since Iv moved to bend I have had nothing but friendly and helpful service from everyone at this locationI hate shipping things, there are so many rules and ways you have to pack stuff But they do all the work. You just have to stand in line and wait your damn turn, it’s really not that hard. Don’t knock down the employee’s who work hard with negative reviews because corporate didn’t install a drop box or raised their prices for shipping equipment. It’s not their fault, they do wonderful. Keep up the good work guys!
