Been on hold for over 20 minutes. Is there one caller ahead of me or two? It keeps changing. I'm trying to find medicine. Not good.

This is specifically about the pharmacy at Walgreens, but I'm sure it also applies to the regular staff.Like most people commenting here, I've had to deal with inconveniences at Walgreens. Long wait times, delayed prescriptions, closed for seemingly random reasons. This is a huge problem and very frustrating for everybody. But it is happening across the country. In Kansas City, CVS pharmacists walked out to protest unsafe and stressful work conditions due to lack of proper staffing. Some 75,000 Kaiser Permanente healthcare workers went on strike over burnout and problems with retention and recruiting. This week Walgreen employees in some states are planning walkouts over prescription and vaccination expectations demanded by corporate management that result in delays and angry customers. On a recent visit to this Walgreen's location, I overheard a man yelling at one of the Heathers because his prescriptions weren't ready. When she tried to explain why he lost his temper. He was so loud and rude that folks in line and the waiting room became visibly uncomfortable. This was NOT her fault. Please try to be patient and nice to the local people serving you. If you want to complain, aim your anger at the Walgreens corporation and let the people in charge know you want this fixed now.

The store is fine I guess. Haven't met the pharmacist. But they're a Walgreens so I had my meds called in there, only to find out they close before 7pm on fridays, and aren't open at all on the weekends. How can a pharmacy close early Friday and not open back up til Monday? A lot of medications don't work like that. It's honestly shocking. So if you're trying to decide whether to go shopping there, it's just like any other Walgreens. But using them as your regular pharmacy is basically out of the question. And they don't seem to care either.

would give even less than one star - i called to refill a prescription, and after waiting on hold for 15 minutes, a lady picked up the phone, asked me to hold, and then set the phone on the counter. i could hear her and another employee helping other customers for about 5 minutes, and then she hung up the phone. unbelievably bad service.

Not sure what the problem is but this is most inept pharmacy I've ever used. Got so sick of the poor customer service I requested my Rxs be transferred to another pharmacy. Over a week later nothing has been done. They don't answer the phone and if you go in person all you get is bunch of bull s***. Hope this doesn't start happening with Summit now the Walgreens bought them out!

I'm sorry to be to adding to the "haters" as someone referred to most of these reviews, but I have to say, I am extremely disappointed in Walgreens and pharmacies in Bend in general. I honestly don't blame the poor overworked staff that seem to be doing the very best they can under the circumstances, but I blame the "system" which apparently allowed me to make an appointment for a Covid test and even sent a confirmation email with explicit directions about my appointment. My first clue that there was something wrong, was that the drive thru window is closed. The instructions were to not enter the store, but go there for my test. So I went into the pharmacy and waiting in line for my turn. When I finally got to the window, the staff looked at me blankly and then told me they didn't have covid PCR tests or vaccines, yet the "system" continues to make appointments for people. This was my last resort in town. I had called my primary care office and they pointed me to the CDC website that led me to Walgreens. I know the pandemic had a huge impact on the health care system as well as pharmacies and a lot of businesses. I know people are sick of dealing with Covid and wish it all to be over. But it is alive and well and people who are at risk still need services. What a crazy world this has become. I used to have confidence in health care services in this community. But that has changed. The HWY 20 location is a long way across town for me. I don't think I'll be going back. And would recommend calling first before heading down there and waiting in line. But it sounds like no one answers the phone either...

Everytime I come to fill a prescription at this location, I hear someone in line upset with the service here. I can understand that people can feel frustrated with the wait or if their medication is on back order but I must say, the staff are working their butts off and if they could work faster, they would. They have always been kind and you can see that they are doing their best and always keep their cool when customers lash out at them and treat all customers with respect even if it's not reciprocated often.I wish more people could see past the inconveniences that covid had thrust upon all industries and acknowledge that the pharmacy staff are doing a great job. Our world changed so much since 2020 and that's not their doing. The had to pivot and make adjustments just like everyone else.Other pharmacies have closed in town causing them to take on the extra load and more people are utilizing medications than ever before.I'm grateful they still remain open and I hope they know that they are important and valued.

I'm done with Walgreens pharmacy. Used to be the best in town but no more. Now the worst. I just went in to pick up the meds I called in last Wednesday. Today is Tuesday. On the call they said they would be filled by 3 pm that day. I didn't get a chance to get down there until Thursday after work.... Oops they close an hour earlier than their Hwy 20 store so getting there at 5:10 was 10 minutes too late. So I had to stretch the meds I had left while I was out of town over the weekend. I come in to the store today to pick them up only to find they were NEVER entered in their system to be refilled. So I have to wait again... No ETA on when they will be done since they are short staffed. What is going on? Why does no one want to work there? Why are their workers incompetent and tell me one thing but sabotage me regardless. 9 months ago, their other store on Hwy 20 screwed up my refill request because their staff refused to take my new insurance info even though I told them I had new insurance but the guy assured me it was already in their system. This delayed my refill by about 2 weeks as I recall. Never again.

This has got to be the worst Walgreens I have ever frequented. Every single time I ordered photos and it's pre-paid there's nobody there to assist and or they make you wait in one line at the till. although you see other staff members casually walking around what appears to be doing nothing. Not to mention all of the workers are quite rude.

I don't know why there are such the haters on Yelp for this store. I had forgotten my medicine at home while vacationing in SunRiver and had my doctor call the Rx in. As soon as the Rx's came in they processed them and let me know they were done. There was a glitch on the doctors side but it got ironed out. The pharmacy tech was super helpful, gracious and friendly and the pharmacist filled it quickly. I was so thankful for the quick and friendly service. I was worried after seeing all the terrible reviews, but my experience was a good one. Keep up the good work pharmacy! Thank you for the cheery service!

If I could rate Walgreens zero stars I would. We have had several issues with getting prescriptions filled in a timely manner, but this last occurrence is the last straw. I was scheduled to have surgery on a Thursday so my surgeon's office called in my postoperative meds the Monday prior. It is now Saturday, TWO days AFTER my surgery and Walgreens still has not filled my prescriptions. I have spent hours on hold trying to get through to a pharmacy representative. Today (Saturday) I finally found someone to drive me to the Walgreens on Franklin only to find out the pharmacy is closed on the weekends. I contacted the Walgreens on highway 20 to get my script transferred and was told my meds would be ready in 90 minutes. Three hours later and the script still has not been filled. This company has no right being in business if this is how they treat their customers. Shame shame shame!

Doc sent over an Rx on Wednesday, the app showed it would be ready Thursday at noon, then changed to Thursday at 2:00 then again to 6:00. Friday comes around and the same thing. Saturday I called to get a recorded message that the pharmacy was closed until Monday. What kind of BS is this? Glad this was not something like insulin. Walgreens has lost my business.

The staff here is horrible! Good luck trying to get them to answer the phone. They just let it ring when they are doing absolutely nothing nothing better then people milking the clock on company's time

If I could I would give them zero stars. This is the worst service I've ever experienced. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE; I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS STORE. I called in a prescription and my doctor called in another two this was almost a week ago for my doctors Rx order and I called my order in on Friday and was told it'd be ready by Monday or Tuesday at 11am. They are so bad at filling prescriptions and handling customers that I was unable to get anything because they hadn't actually filled the prescriptions and the line was too long to wait in. I work everyday during the week and can't stand in a two hour long line during my thirty minute lunch break. There is a major disconnect with what the customers are being told when calling in prescriptions and what is present at the actual store. This needs to be addressed and fixed. I understand there are staff shortages but have they ever considered that they have tried to cut cost by paying people less than they are worth and this capitalist approach is causing their stores to fall flat of performing their duties since they lack the staff that they won't pay for; make note that I said won't pay for because their lack of pay is the reason for the lack of staff. This is a major national corporation they have no excuses as to why they are simply unable to provide the service that is their main source of revenue.
