It really can’t get much worse. The automated system for the pharmacy claims they will contact you when your order is ready. That’s never ever happened. The last 2 times I requested to speak to a human from the automated pharmacy I was on hold for over an hour. It’s obvious they don’t answer the phone. The only way to convince the pharmacy to begin filling your order is to go into the store, wait in line, be poorly treated by the overworked staff and be told to come back in a few hours.People rely on pharmacy’s for their family’s and their own health. I don’t understand why you would even attempt to run a pharmacy if you can’t provide the services necessary. It’s obvious they are not paying or treating their staff well enough.Walgreens sucks.

Looking over these horror stories people had, you'd think this Walgreens was completely falling apart at the seems.Well...that's not entirely true. From the outside this location looks like a nice, big, and clean Walgreens. Inside, however, not so much. The reason I came in today was to retrieve a package from FedEx that couldn't get delivered to my home b/c I had a dyslexic moment and entered the numbers of my house in the wrong order (hey, it's a new home we moved into.)The inside of this Walgreens looked pretty well stocked, but on this day the pharmacy was temporarily closed and the photo department was also temporarily closed due to their machines malfunctioning. So yeah, things didn't look too good. But again, I was here to retrieve a package, and I was greeted with a smile from the young cashier working up front. She tried to find it in the back, no luck. She then looked at some of the small envelopes behind her near the photo department, and still no luck. But she happily paged her manager to assist me.The manager promptly arrived, called me over to assist me with my inquiry, and after I explained to him my package size and name he said, "not to worry, if it's here I'll find it." He went to the back, and was gone for all of 1 minute before coming back to the front with an FedEx envelope. He verified my ID, we exchanged some light pleasantries, and I was on my way. Hassle free.So while I didn't come here to shop necessarily—nor was I here to visit the pharmacy or photo booth—I can say I was met with prompt service and nice employees.

Would give negative stars if I could. I consistently have issues getting my medication refilled here. It has NEVER been filled on time. This time, They never filled the medication I have been taking for over 10 years. I then had to switch pharmacies last minute. Impossible to reach them by phone. I am now going through withdrawals because of the negligence this pharmacy provides to its customers.

This Walgreens is absolutely ridiculous! They purposely do not answer their phone, they will leave you on hold while they pack up & go home. They never have the medication I need & only dispense 5 days worth of meds then they won't fill the rest of my prescription. It's ongoing! They can do better but won't! We should all stop using this pharmacy because they think they can get away with treating us like this. I'm 100% disgusted with Walgreens as a whole because of how rotten their care is. Also, I've had other pharmacies fax Walgreens to send my prescription over but Walgreens staff ignores the fax so I'm stuck with them until I can get my doctors to fill some place else. Maybe if we all stop using them they might change their ways but it's very doubtful. No stars NONE!!! Just gave them one star so I could warn you!

Went to pickup my own FedEx package that I redirected to hold, the two ignorant girls at the counter refused to give me my package because they wouldn't accept my ID and FedEx email with tracking number from my FedEx account. I will also add that I have been a Fedex driver for 10 yrs and not only was I in uniform but I was also driving a fedex vehicle when I went to pickup my personal package. These to snotty brats treated me like I knew nothing about package pickup policies and literally said " well you should know what's required ". I ended up having to come back to this location after work to once again get my chewy box, talked with the manager and got it. I've had packages held for pickup at this location many times, I've never had this issue in the past and not only was it incredibly unprofessional but probably the most ridiculous experience ever. Those two ignorant snobby girls need to learn some customer service skills and perhaps actually learn the correct package pickup policies. Also some common sense wouldn't hurt either, though it seems incredibly rare among the younger generations .

This store should probably just close. Inside is a mess, nothing is stocked on the shelves. Hours posted on the doors don’t match the hours given in the phone tree.Ordered some canvas prints on a Sunday, called Tuesday to find out why they weren’t ready. Was told they’d be ready in a day or two. Called back Friday - was told all but 1 were ready and that it would be 1-2 weeks for the final piece as they were out of the canvas size. So I canceled the piece and reordered it from the Franklin store. It was ready in less than a day. The least they could have done was call me to let me know about the out of stock piece. Especially with a 1-2 week wait. The canvas prints themselves were not wrapped well at all (except the piece ordered from Franklin). Crooked and off center. I don’t have the energy to deal with returning and reordering them. 3/5 were missing sawtooth hooks for hanging and I had to go back for that. Just overall a bad product and experience.

Been on hold for over 20 minutes. Keep being told that there is "Two people in front of me." For over 20 minutes? Trying to find medicine...this is not helpful.

Pharmacy unexpectedly closed all weekend glad I wasn't out of my meds. Went there today (Monday) at least the pharmacy was open but drive through was closed AGAIN. For people that are mobility challenged and need drive throughs to be operating AS ADVERTISED this is not good. Walgreens needs to lose their pharmaceutical certification! Lost me as a customer!

If I could leave a zero I would. After being informed Tuesday that the prescription was not in stock I awaited the message the following day. The text said it would now be the following day. It is now Friday and no message. The girl on the phone informed me that they didn't have my information to message me and I politely told her that I had been receiving texts. She then told me that they didn't have the item in stock. She transferred me to DAVE who put me on hold and then informed me that it would be available in 5 to 10 minutes. I expressed my displeasure and said I actually can't come then, because I am running a business and asked about what kind of discount they would be giving me for this terrible service to which he replied there is no discount for this, and they would be happy to forward it to another pharmacy. I suggested that he call another pharmacy to ensure that they have it in stock, and he told me that he would not be making any effort to do so even though this was their mistake. After expressing again my displeasure at the service he hung up on me. I am shocked and disgusted and will never use Walgreens again.

I have used Walgreens for years, after having a horrible experience with the Walmart pharmacy (where my doctor's office had to call in a prescription for my daughter 4 times, because they kept denying that they had received her prescription). After my most recent experience, though, I won't be using Walgreens pharmacy ever again. I normally use the Franklin Avenue pharmacy location, so when I saw an urgent care doctor this weekend, I had them call my prescription in to that pharmacy. Too late, I had checked the hours online and realized they were closed on the weekends, and realized I would have to deal with pain of my infection until Monday -- my fault for not checking the hours, right? Except that the store on Franklin is apparently CLOSED temporarily -- they only mention that on the STORE hours, not the PHARMACY hours. When I called the pharmacy today (Monday) to check on the status of my prescription, the recording said the store was temporarily closed and forwarded me to the corporate customer service line. The representative referred me to this pharmacy -- the one on Highway 20. I asked him if they had access to my prescription, since it was called in to the Franklin Avenue location, and he seemed confused about my question, so I decided to just end the phone call and call the Highway 20 pharmacy and talk to them. The woman who answered the phone immediately had a terse tone to her voice, as she asked for my information. She advised me that the prescription had been called in to the Franklin Avenue location -- but she could see the prescription! I told her the Franklin Avenue location was closed and that the Walgreens representative had referred me to their location (you'd think she'd know this). She then advised me that my prescription won't be ready until tomorrow. Why was it not filled over the weekend, if they're open on the weekends and supposed to be filling prescriptions for the other location?

Each month my DR submits my reoccurring prescription. Yet they don't and won't fill it till you physically call and request to fill it. The DR called and they wouldn't fill it with my doctor either. It will just sit in their system untouched. God forbid you call, you're on hold for 30+ minutes (usually the time I give up waiting). There is NO reason you're on hold for that long when you call when they have been opened for a MINUTE. I've been in this Walgreens countless times, and its NEVER been busy enough to have people just sitting on the phones without being helped.

Horrible customers service from the pharmacy! I can’t believe they told me to call around and check out what pharmacy has my prescription. After waiting patiently for two weeks for it. They act like I am bothering them. Unprofessional pharmacy technicians

If I could give negative starts I absolutely would. We are a Doctors office here in Bend. We constantly have issues with the Walgreens HWY 20 pharmacy. It's utterly ridiculous the service these employees provide. What has happened to Customer Service?! Walgreens in Bend are absolutely ridiculous. Protocol for every medical office regarding current prescriptions is to have the patient call the pharmacy and have the pharmacy send a refill request. We have had a number of patients call this pharmacy for a 'Refill Request' and I continuously get calls back from multiple patients that are telling us that Walgreens is refusing to send us a refill request. I have been directing patients to use other pharmacies because Walgreens has unfortunately gone so far down hill I highly doubt they will turn that place around.

I've used Walgreens for years in 3 different states and always had excellent customer service. I worked with the Walgreens Pharmacy on Highway 20 in Bend for weeks trying to get 2 prescriptions filled. They kept telling me that my insurance wouldn't cover them even though I'd called Medicare who confirmed that they were covered. Medicare even did a 3 way call with Walgreens and me to confirm that the medications were covered. I went back to the store every day for weeks and was told that their system didn't recognize that they were covered. Medicare told them it was a Walgreens issue and that they needed to call their help desk. I was told that they were on the phone for "hours" trying to get through to their help desk. I suggested that that was an internal problem and asked to speak to the General Manager. I was told that he would be given my number and would call me. I declined their offer because I'd been promised phone calls along the way that didn't happen. My point of contact was the manager whose first name is Alena (not sure of spelling). She was very pleasant each time we spoke but failed to update her staff as to what was going on. If she wasn't there (which was often the case), no one was able to help me because there were no notes in the system. I finally had my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy in town and had them in a matter of days. I understand this particular manager also works at the other store in Bend so I don't plan to use either one.
