Usually pretty busy during the day. Best time to go is in the evening around 9:00 because in the sore is pretty empty. They have great prices

I like they have a lot of organic produce, very cheap. Also certain things here are at least $1.50 less than anywhere else. You can get beef jerky here, grass fed for half the price anywhere else. These are good reasons to go here.

Simply the best grocery store chain in the Northwest. Their Winco brands are excellent. Huge beer and wine selection. Great produce. Bulk section is superb. No credit cards.

WinCo amount all the regular stuff has in particular really great fried chicken in there deli. Also in the uncooked area racks of beaf ribs and pork shoulder that are really delicious when cooked at home correctly.

Forget Costco, Safeway, Albersons, and Fred Meyer, this store is huge, lots of room, clean, excellent lighting, great prices, huge variety, great parking, easy access, friendly staff. Give Winco Bend a try. I did, and will be back again.

Great prices and selection of food. Beats Safeway and Albertsons by a mile. Sometimes it seems they don't have enough cashier's at the busier times as I feel like I'm always waiting to check out but other than that it's a great grocery shopping experience.

Our favorite grocery store. Prices are the best, and they carry some of our favorite items that aren't found anywhere else in the area. Best prices on Tillamook cheese, for sure.We do our weekly grocery shopping here.

Too busy with not enough employees. Self checkout is 2 isles each with rows on checkout on each side. One employee overseas 16 or so checkouts. If something goes wrong or the system flags for an employee, you'll be waiting awhile. I was waiting for 5 minutes, and all the while 3 additional employees were talking near the employee oversee area. Not one came over to help. It was frustrating, I was sitting there trying to pay for 5 minutes. Also, like Walmart they use cameras at self checkout. If you have kids and are not not comfortable having him on recorded video like that, that's someone to be aware of. I see lots of people complaining about that nowadays so I wanted to point that out. If they are concerned about shrinkage they should open more regular check stands and have less self checkout. I know it's not grocery, but Best Buy does this and has low shrinkage rates. In the end, I've been to WinCo all over, from Oregon City to Tigard, Bend, Henderson Nevada, Coeur d'alene Idaho and more. This was the worst staffed WinCo I've ever been to. I have no issues with the chain, normally employees are helpful. That was definitely not the case with this one. I wouldn't want to come to this location again.

It can be a bit crowded but I still don't mind shopping there. Employees are nice and accommodating.Lines can be long but it goes pretty fast. Great prices and great stock of product.

Great place. We we're in and out so quick. We found everything we needed and more. The checkout was easy to do. The only downside was being charged for bags, but other than that, it was a nice shopping experience. God bless! ?✝️?

***REVIEW specifically for the pre-made sandwiches***So I love visiting Bend and been here pretty often. Winco is pretty massive with their selection so that's a plus. This review isn't so much about Winco itself but the pre-made sandwiches I recently purchased. You have been warned! So one starving night and not in the mood for cooking, friends and I grabbed a pre-made chicken sandwich, pre-made roast beef sandwich and a pre-made Turkey wrap to split and share. Got home, threw on mayo/mustard on the chicken sandwich. Sliced in half to share and started eating. Few bites in, an odd stringy texture on my tongue. It's a string of black hair! YUK!! The other half of the sandwich my friend got was clear. I couldn't keep eating my half so tossed it and decided to start on the roast beef half. Unbelievably I bit into another black hair right away!! Holy cow!! The chances of this happening twice and one after the other...the universe said "No Sandwiches For You!". I'm still starving and very carefully opened up the Turkey wrap to check the inside. Layer after layer, I'm in the clear. I wasn't too excited to eat it since I wasn't sure what may not be visible and conditions this wrap was made in but visually it looked ok so I ate it. Hopefully management can let corporate know so they either have the vendors clean up their food making process or change vendors. There was a recent How It's Made showing workers making sandwiches with their bare hands (BARF) for companies en masse. All I know is, I'm never buying a pre-made sandwich from anyone. Noped out.

Winco is a great grocery store. Their prices are competitive and they carry almost everything I have ever needed. I appreciate their fresh produce and the bulk section is extensive! The cashiers are very friendly. You will have to bag your own groceries here. My kids love bagging groceries while I pay. ?
