I needed front and rear brakes. Where I have been going quoted $1,401 for front and rear ceramic brake pads and disk. I called another shop which quoted $837 for both front and rear ceramic pads and disks.
I decided to stop by Zenith. Alan asked me several questions about the performance of the brakes and said he did not believe I needed disks and it would be $150 to $180 per axel for ceramic brake pads.
I took the work to Zenith and Alan saved me a chunk of money. It is not a fancy shop: no coffee, no waiting room and you need to arrange your own transportation. But the quality of the work is FIRST RATE and FANTASTIC and I saved from over $500 to over $1,000!
Neither of the higher quotes asked me anything about the performance of my brakes. The shop where I have taken my car for the last 4 years (the initial highest quote) has done great work and I never felt I was being taken advantage of until now. They have monitored my brakes and I knew I now needed both front and back brakes, but when I called for a quote they did not ask how the brakes were responding. When I left the car at Zenith with Alan, I told him if new disks were needed that he could just proceed and replace them and he did not have to call me. When I picked up the car he said the disks were just fine and did not need replacing.
This is a single man's operation, so no overhead for Owner, Shop Manager, Community Engagement Manage, Service Advisors, Parts Manager, Shop Foreman... He does not have posted hours. I called at 8 am to inquire about service and there was only the voice mail, so I stopped by in person about 10 am, he had come in at 9:30 am that day. He asked questions about the brakes and also the other service I was needing. I realized he was reliable and was not trying to do work not needed. Belt replacement was on my car's routine servicing schedule. Alan checked the belts and said that they did not need to be replaced at this time.
I feel totally blessed to have found Zenith Auto Repair. Thank you Alan and have a great trip to see your brother!

This guy is a one man shop does an amazing job very knowledgeable about all makes and models is extremely good with Mercedes-Benz and so fair with his pricing it's unbelievable to give you an idea of how good I think he is I take my gl320 merecedes to him for service and I live in salem over 100 miles away and it's worth the drive and hotel he is genuine , honest ,fair and truly excellent at his craft thanks for everything alan

I needed a diagnostic before I leave town but every place I called was booked for a month or two. Alan was also booked but he took the time on the phone to hear my problem and offer some advice. He didn’t have to do that after a long day of work so I really appreciate it.
