A nicely designed and well put together multiplex with great parking and many nice areas available for any occasion.

Very disappointed with the management at this event center. The space itself was great, but if you expect to get your deposit back as promised — DO NOT BOOK HERE. We followed all the cleanup requirements in the contract, yet they’ve ignored multiple calls and emails from my friend who put down the deposit. They promised a refund by June 30th; it’s now July 30th and we haven’t heard a thing. Avoid this place if you want your deposit returned.

Buyer Beware!! It is upsetting what this venue did so many other couples. I would not trust this venue moving forward.

While this venue appears beautiful and affordable, I would caution any couple considering it for a wedding. The venue was shut down in 2024 for numerous code violations and for conducting weddings they are not licensed to host. While they have reopened as an equestrian center, they are unable to prove they are now licensed to host weddings. They could likely be shut down again.
When we had to pivot to a new venue due to their poor business practices, not only did they fail communicate with us for over a month, they refused to refund our deposit. The management of this property is despicable, and they count on the threat of litigation costing more than you’ve lost to keep your money when they fail to provide the services they are contractually bound to provide.

Went here on August 10th for a wedding. Very beautiful location that is perfect for a wedding or an event.

I was a bride that was affected by Mt. Hood being shut down from the county. The communication from the venue was basically non existent. And they really offered no help to all the brides & grooms affected by the shut down. I was so luckily to find a gorgeous venue elsewhere with 3 months till my big day.

I would very seriously encourage nobody to do business with this company!
We booked our wedding with them back in September of 2023, for September of 2024. Back in April, the venue was shut down by the county for what seems to be very serious allegations. We have been asking for a refund since April 17th, and have yet to receive a refund.
The only updates we had received throughout this process was that MHC was going back and forth with the county to get back open, and that we would receive updates as they got updates. Because we were never given a straight answer, we had to book another wedding venue.
As soon as they came to a resolution with the county, I received a phone call where I was told that MHC would need to evaluate their finances before offering refunds. I also think it’s important to point out, that this is the only phone call we have received throughout this entire process.
Our emails and phone calls have been continuously ignored. And when we do get email responses, they are constantly blaming everything on the county, and explaining how everything that happened is only the fault of the county.
I have never experienced such absolutely horrendous customer service!

They are literally the loser date that stiffed you with the bill, stole your wallet, blocked you for months, then shows up to give you another chance.

DO NOT GO WITH MT.HOOD. If I could give negative stars I would. We had a wedding booked with them for next year. When they got shut down by the county (for unsafe conditions, mind you), there was zero communication with us, zero update, zero contact what so ever. I tried emailing, calling (had their phones shut off), texting all the contacts I had at the center and no replies, no communication, nothing. Because we did not know when, or even if, they would reopen, but also nervous for the safety aspect, we were forced to find another (thankfully even better) venue but they never gave our deposit money back. There were red flags from the beginning even before this whole ordeal (which we should have looked at as a foreshadow). Before even booking, after our first tour, we were told very different info and prices from our tour guide compared to emailing with the accounting/pricing rep. (ex. we were told extra hours would be $250 but later read in the contract extra hours were $1,000) Afetr we booked, the communication was horrible as well, we were waiting many days for replies, with sometimes no reply at all, to simple questions for our planning purposes. The girls working there never followed through with what they promised (sending info via email, calling back, getting the answer we needed to continue the planning process). Just overall beautiful place but unfortunately horrendously run and managed.

I cannot emphasize enough that YOU SHOULD NOT DO BUSINESS with the Mt. Hood Center. We had the venue booked for our wedding for over a year when the county shut them down for what seems like pretty egregious code violations. Because we did not know when or if they would reopen, we were forced to book another venue. The Mt. Hood Center assured us the contract with them would be void and we would receive a refund. The refund never materialized; instead, we received notification months later that they had reopened, and that we would not be receiving any refund. This is no way to treat people as they plan the most important day of their lives. The Mt. Hood Center will not treat you with respect or frankly, common decency. They will not hesitate to take your money and leave you out of luck. They will not be easy to communicate with. They will not be your ally as you plan your wedding.

If zero stars was possible, that would be the rating for Mt Hood Center! My friend booked her wedding here, paid in full, and won’t even be able to get married here due to them shutting down randomly. There has been little to no communication since the county shut them down and she hasn’t received a penny back. Imagine having to scramble to find a new venue and come up with extra money when your wedding is a few short months away.. what are they supposed to do? So many brides are being affected by their negligence. Do not book an event here!!
