I sincerely loved coming to this post office. Damien was so kind and shared his wisdom with us. We came here to send off our wedding invitations and left feeling really heart warmed. 10/10 experience and absolutely worth the drive. Somehow our invitations made it to everyone within 1 business day- I was so surprised!

The lady says it's a good place for brides to go to get their wedding invitations mailed, because then the cancellation stamp on the envelope will say it came from "Bridal Veil." It's right there, off I-84 Exit 28, and it’s open every day but Sunday. Buy your stamps here and help keep it going.

I don't know whom to blame for my letters being returned. 12 of 14 letters returned. 12 X $0.60 + Time and fuel = frustration.I was really looking forward to mailing from the Bridal Veil Falls Post Office often and getting their unique postmarks. Not anymore. This is my problem. The last week of August, I wrote 14 letters to friends and family. 12 of them were returned. The yellow tag said, Unable to forward. Return to sender. This is where I call B.S. 1. All valid addresses. I mailed myself an empty envelope for the postmark. It was one of the 12 returned. 2. None of the envelopes were over an ounce. Remember that I mailed myself an Empty Envelope. I asked my local post office about this and got some stupid answers from Lilly who talked with the Post Master at my Fairview location. She literally didn't know what the problem was and tried to tell me because they are busy it happens. NOT ACCEPTABLE Lilly. She tried to tell me that some of the addresses were invalid and actually looked the top one up. I said, uh Lilly. That address your looking up is my niece whom I've mailed several letters to, so ya, its a valid address and then I picked up my envelope i mailed myself and said, what about this one? This is my address. See how it matches my Return Address? Lilly's response, I see that. Me, so is this not a valid address? Lilly, uh. Then she tried to say maybe they were over the 1 ounce limit. Me, what about this envelope that is empty? Lilly, let me see that, holds it up to the light and sees it's empty. Me, smiling. That's when I got the Lame Story About How They Didn't Make A Mistake. Oh ya. I've got 12 things that said the post office failed me.Lessons learned. The worst part is there is no one to complain to. There is no recourse. So all you brides to be that desperately want that Bridal Veil Falls Post Office Postmark. Beware. I was out less than 10 bucks. What if I had mailed a 100 wedding invitations from this location?

My finace and I brought our wedding invitations here early on a Saturday morning. We needed to purchase postage, finish up stamping a few RSVPs, and then assemble those remaining invites. The gentleman working was so patient with us & even excited when he peeked at the postage we were using. He made a point to get the postmark on the invites just right which meant a lot to me. Then at the end he took our picture. While it might seem like a little detail..., after such a rough year & this being our first real step towards our postponed/rescheduled wedding we'll remember this is as such a positive experience.

Fun fact: Bridal Veil has no permanent residences, but can afford the up keep of this post office due to engaged couples mailing out mass wedding invitations that are stamped with the special Bridal Veil stamp... very neat history here

We happened upon this post office to mail some post cards and the clerk was the sweetest!!! She gave us a nickel when we were short one, and gave us recommendations for the area as far as sightseeing was concerned. They had apparently just gotten out of a power outage but we never would have known!

We didn't get to go inside because they were closed. It this is the cutest little post office ever! We stuck our postcards in the door so hopefully they make it to our house. Don't be like us and accidentally get on the interstate instead of actually turning onto the street.

Cutest little historic post office with the kindest and most knowledgeable staff! The worker knew about the history of the building, and how to resolve my postal needs for mailing off my wedding invitations. The hours are quite limited and have been updated recently since reopening, but it's understandable considering how small the office is. There is a little lending library outside too.
