Had a very nice experience getting my car worked on here. I had car troubles as I was visiting the Oregon coast and called and got help with a diagnosis over the phone and was able to get in quick and easy. Want to give a big shout out thank you to James with Brookings Automotive for helping a young lady pull her car out of a ditch today. I called him on the Fly and he was there to help with ease. Super awesome great customer service and has got the tools he needs to get the job done.

While on a road trip through Oregon in September, our wheel bearings failed. The owner of this establishment not only fixed our car right away, he called a client and asked if they wouldn't mind if he prioritized our car so that he could get us back on the road as quickly as possible. He offered us rides to and from our hotel so that we would not have to take an Uber. Honestly, how often does one run across such incredibly kind people?! What a giant among men. A true gem. We feel so incredibly grateful.

Place is outstanding. I was leaving town and in a pinch I was squeezed in and taken care of instantly. Totally helped on price as well. If you are looking to have quality work done and at a very cost effective price this is your place. If you don’t like good people and good workman ship I strongly recommend finding somewhere else

I went in for an oil change, and after leaving discovered that the oil was filled more than 1.5 quarts above the line. This was disturbing since significant overfilling of the oil is bad for the car.
Additionally the 5 quart container of oil was turned upside on my back seat, and spilled oil all over my seat cover. Its very difficult to get the oil out, and will require removal of the entire back seat to get the cover off so that it can be cleaned.
A couple of days later, I returned my car to the mechanic, and he said he could tell if it was overfilled after waiting not more than 5 minutes. He then wiped the dip stick on his T-Shirt, and said it wasn't overfilled. What a slob. There is no possible way the oil in the engine would have settled enough after 5 minutes in order for someone to determine its true level, and typically you check oil before you start the car in the morning.

James really helped us out last minute when we needed it and even stayed late to replace our alternator. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and a great pleasure to talk to. James even answered some of our questions over text after we left!Got the work done quickly and at a good price, plus we got to hang out with his sweet dog Pepper. Highly recommend

James is amazing!! His customer service to top notch! I went to start my 4 runner friday at about 2pm and it shook like crazy and the check engine light was flashing. It was a missfire because a rodent chewed some wires. I had to tow it to him and he was able to give me an idea of cost and damage right away before they closed for the weekend. That way I didn't have to worry all weekend of what might be wrong with my 4 runner. He had it fixed by Monday, and even came and picked me up! Small towns are awesome. He was knowledgable, pleasant, and friendly. He even sprayed rodent repellent under my hood to keep them away. Really nice guy, great repair place, thank you James, I really appreciate it!
