A little late writing this review but didn't want to pass up giving them a great rating. My husband, son, and I, went rockfishing with this company. We've been out with several other charters and this charter is one of the best. The crew was great and we limited on our catch. They cut the fish for us and we took it all home. Best cuts I've ever had, no bones, amazing tasting fish. We'll definitely go out with them again when visiting Oregon.

Awesome experience....paid for 4 hour charter got out and had a lot of fun... at no fault to Captain Sam or his boat the Kraken, my fiancee's knee gave out and she ended up breaking her leg in two spots. Captain Sam and his crew made sure she was comfortable and rushed her into shore but slow enough the boat didn't jump in the water. He went above and beyond to help her with the paramedic team and even made sure we got our fish by end of the day. GREAT EXPERIENCE CONSIDERING......... Can't wait to go back again and have a great time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS CREW!!!!

These guy will give an arm and leg to get you on fish. The morning of our trip weather aka lighting was around but with only a 30mins delay we headed out. With bad conditions and rough fishing my party of two was able to limit on rock fish before heading back. The captain of the Papa B did everything in his power get us on fish and did way more than any other captain iv ever seen. I will be going on more trips with these guys!

My 10year old son and I went out today with captain Sam a Chris. The guys were the best! There were six people on the boat and these guys were on it. If I waited for help at all then it was only a moment before I was taken care of. With 6 anglers on deck that is really saying something about their hustle and attention. We will definitely be booking again. Caught mire fistlh then we could have imagined. Thank you!!!!

I've taken my son and friends on several trips with these guys. Fantastic experience every time. They put you on the fish and they make sure all the customers have a great time. We've been out with Captains Andy, Travis and Mick. All of them are great with kids and you couldn't ask for better service. They keep rods ready for you and they all know the local waters.

Have booked about 6 times in the last 2 years for bottom fishing, mostly summer time, and the booking process either by phone or the online booking system has always been easy. I always get a call back when I leave a voicemail. If ocean weather doesn't look good they don't risk taking customers out, which each trip I've always felt safe, even when the ocean swell has been bigger. Captain Mick took me and family out last summer and worked hard so we all got limits, surpassing the booked time limit by a couple hours, it was awesome! All 4 captains I've been out with are friendly, knowledge, and are fun to fish with, the same is true about the deck hands too. Good people. The lingcod fest was awesome a couple weekends ago and can't wait to go fishing with you all again!

Not sure how the fishing would have been, but the communication was the worst!I sent multiple emails that went unanswered, recieved promises of weather updates that never came, and finally they made a last minute cancellation on a day that other charters reported beautiful waters and limits of fish.Wanted to try fishing new waters down south, but we will go back to the tried and true charter options available in Newport.
